My wife is in Canada visiting her sister. She left strict instructions for the recording of her favourite shows. Today I switched on the Humax to check that all was ok with my wife's recordings. I selected recordings to be met with the message "you do not have any recordings at present ". I nearly had heart failure. Imagining trying to explain that to a jet lagged missus.

I pulled out the power lead and rebooted and lo and behold all the recordings reappeared! Phew!

Anybody else experience this issue!

Several times with mine but not recently.
I found switching off and then back on via the remote sorted it each time rather than a full power reboot.

Yes they did.

Also had this happen (but a long time ago) when going into recordings immediately after coming out of full standby. I wonder if the recording list is prepared by a background task started after boot and I was just to fast?
