So apparently The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot is going to be part of a 50th anniversary boxset which also includes Day of the Doctor, Night of the Doctor and Time of the Doctor.
Really pleased with this (if true). I was hoping to be able to buy "Day" and "Time" together and I really did not want to buy "Time" with all the other specials I already own. If an Adventure in Space and Time is also included in this set, I'll be over the moon.

Oh, that's a bit of a disappointment. I was hoping for a standalone release for 5ishDrs. I'm really not interested in Name/Day/etc ... seeing them once was an ample sufficiency and I wouldn't want to be shelling out hard cash for them again seeing as I deleted them off the Skyplus without a moment's hesitation.

I was hoping for something along the lines of Curb Your Enthusiasm or Extras, but the finished product was more like a ten-minute Comic Relief sketch painfully stretched to a half-hour. Not my sort of humour at all.

surely at only 30 mins day of the five (ish) doctor will be too short for it to be a stand alone feature on dvd

Not unless they made it a extended edition complete with them filming a new story exclusive to DVD.

Oh, is it only half an hour? I haven't seen it at all. I thought it was longer than that.

I wonder if it's youtubeable?

Yeah, I mean it got a couple of laughs out of me but I think there's been a weird overhyping of it going on, with many people claiming it was better than the special itself. It wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen but I have no desire to ever watch it again.

The most enjoyable thing about the 50th, I'll be glad to see it on dvd.

BIB: I thought it was very funny, with lots of in-jokes, but I wouldn't say it was better than the special itself - that's mostly just some Moffat and Smith bashers. It entertains in a different way than the special, but very good in itself,
