Got nothing against u cheryl, but i dont like the song, doesnt deserve no.1 but will get no.1 cause all of her "first album single releases" do get no.1
to name a few, "Fight for this love" & "Call my name"
1. Cheryl Cole f/Tinie Tempah - Crazy Stupid Love (97.3k)* [+9.2k]
2. MAGIC! - Rude (78.3k)* [+10.4k]
3. Ella Henderson - Ghost (32.3k)
4. Charli XCX - Boom Clap (31.1k)*
5. George Ezra - Budapest (28.1k)
Streaming is supposedly missing from Wednesday, so its not exact, but someone on Buzzjack predicts it will be around the 17.5k lead for Cheryl if it were included.
Wouldnt this make Cheryl equal Geri Halliwell's record as most successful UK female solo on the charts? I'm pretty sure there was a thread a while back saying the most #1s of a UK female on the singles chart is 4 (I still can't quite believe its GERI HALLIWELL who's the record to beat)

It's very sad how Geri, Rita and Cheryl have the most number 1s. What a low grade representation of female british music. It shows popularity doesn't equal great music that will last the test of time.
Its pretty fascinating what the furor of celebrity, publicity and promotion can do among consumers given the actual product has barely any notable value.
I think it'll drop pretty quickly next week. What's sad is real decent songs like Chandelier never get a real chance.
I don't dislike Cheryl but this song is crap!
