ok so we all heard he was returning but it was never officially confirmed, now it is, YAY!
I know many people hate his character but I loved him, im wondering what his top secret storyline is though?......
also looking forward to him and ross coming face to face, two very brilliant bad boys

Even though it was pretty much confirmed anyway it's great that it's been officially confirmed. Cannot wait for his return, great character played by a great actor, looking back after the whole Jackson saga it was probably the best that the character left, but now Aaron can come back with a kind of fresh start, really looking forward to it. Do we know if Danny has started filming yet/ when he will appear onscreen?

I hope they have built a flood barrier in Emmerdale because they will be awash with new tears come then.

Plus I wonder if he has overcome his aversion to kissing his male co-stars. One thing you can say for Finn Barton at least he knows how to go in for the kiss and is believable.

Sigh can you tell I don't like this news?

good news for Emmerdale plus it's what Jackson would have wanted.

agreed, now that hes had a break hopefully hes over the whole Jackson thing.
I cant imagine him getting with finn though, cant imagine finn as Aarons type, finn will definitely no doubt have a huge crush on him though, could make some rather cute viewing

Sorry but being back will bring back all the stuff that happened with Jackson even more.I mean it will always be there, I know you never get over somebody you love not matter how long it has been.

in real life I completely agree with you, in soaps though after a few years characters who have died usually only get mentioned a few times.
what I meant is I hope hes not still consistently pining after Jackson, and that we can start to move the character forward again.

I think though it will be totally different because Aaron killed him he didn't just die though I do think it will be a while before they pair him up with anyone.

That's because he is not believable in my mind. His coming out was great but pairing him with anyone just showed how uncomfortable Danny Miller was playing the part of being gay.

Didn't he leave to be with someone though? I vaguely remember there was a rugby player involved?

Totally agree with you the whole coming out was amazing, but he showed no real spark with the actors who played Jackson and Ed.

Yeah he left with Ed because he took the blame for Adam starting the fire. I think they only paired him up with him as it was his leaving story.

I could have sworn that part of the reason for him leaving was because he was "on the run" from the police.

yeh it ll be interesting to see how they work around this.
and I agree with you all, I hope if they do pair aaron with someone it isn't for the sake of it, Jackson and aaron I didn't find to bad, but aaron and ed was ridiculous, no spark whatsoever.

hes a good enough actor and character, but he could'nt ''play gay''. he just was not believable.
compare him for example to actors like the one who played Syed in eastenders or Brendan in hollyoaks. Todd in corrie is also another good one. Aaron just was not convincing at all. he came across as a straight actor who wasnt very comfortable playing a gay part - so i am amazed he is returning.

i await the oncoming attacks from 'super fans'

I can only assume the reason he's coming back is because his acting career hasn't taken off as I think he expected. I mean he left only 2 years ago with that crappy leaving video and massive party.

I mean he's a decent actor and but the parts he has had since he left haven't been any major parts at all.

Also the worst part of it all is more screen time for the awful Chas/Paddy and Adam.

I can't believe people on twitter are saying they are crying with happiness because he's coming back.

He's not a character I was ovely invested in as he didn't come across as a sympathetic character imo. However I thought he was quite a good actor but all I really remember is him moaning about being robbed at awards ceremonies lol.

Does anyone know if it's a permanent return or just a (fingers crossed!) short stint?

Surely the worst time for somebody on the run to return would be after a cop moves back in to the village!

Yes and then claimed it wasn't him that wrote it.

I'm crying with laughter as everybody doesn't realise it's a step back for him. I reckon he will be the Ken Barlow of ED I bet he's still there in 40 years.
