A petrified Johnny finds an unconscious Sharon and calls an ambulance. As Phil races to the hospital, Mick and Shirley provide emotional support. Also, Ian tells Denise he wants to set a date for their wedding...

Shirley makes a big confession to Phil - but how will he respond? Across the Square, Peter's angry with Les, and Denise is pleased when Ian bonds with baby Lexi. Meanwhile, Linda urges Johnny not to reveal the truth...

The Carters help Dean settle in at his new Salon, Ian and Denise try to be spontaneous and Johnny visits Sharon in hospital. Elsewhere, Shirley desperately tries to talk to Phil following her declaration - what will he say?

The Queen Vic is buzzing as the punters speculate about the attack on Sharon.
Shirley makes a dramatic confession...
Denise offers to babysit Lexi with Ian to give Lola and Peter some time together.

Phil is still trying to keep it together following Sharon's attack.
Ian surprises Denise by offering to whisk her off to a wedding fair...

I do hate how they always have Shirley running after Phil when we know he will be staying with Sharon for the forseeable future and therefore know how it will end. I like Phil but i'm sick of characters being sacrificed for him.
It's a bit like Billy, I have no idea why they constantly make him look a fool?!
I'm looking forward to finding out more about Mick and Shirley though which im assuming is what they mean by 'Phil demands answers from Shirley' on the 16th.
