He was never axed. He's on another break because of his issues. But ken should be back soon to fill his gap.

I think his second period of leave will be quite short

He was suspended until proven guilty, he then came back, he then sold a story saying how drugs and alcohol had been abused to help him through the trail. He was then asked to go to rehab and take a break from Coronation Street. As he had already filmed his scenes they decided to keep them in, Bill Webster relapsed and became ill again I think.

I haven't missed the character and didn't really care for his return. He is so aggressive and for no real reason. He wasn't that why for like his first 20 years on the show.

Looks likely from reading that and related articles, that once Le Vell gets the help and treatment that he needs, then later in the year he will be back.

He will be back when Sally realises how useless Tim is.

Ah, I like Tim, he's really grown on me. I'd much rather see Sally wiht him than with Kevin.

Same. Kevin always seems to have a bitter, hard done by expression on his face. Maybe he should link up with Anna. Tim is much better for Sally. There's good chemistry between Sally and Tim.

Yes, there definitely is and I like the way Tim is gradually coming round to appreciating Sally and realising that he could have a good, solid relationship with her, despite the fact that he's a bit irresponsible at times but he's not nasty or a drunk, he's just a bit of a dope but a lovable dope!

Ditto. Plus Sophie is only really bearable when she's around him.

It's his accident-prone old man I blame.
Kevin's always having to dash off to look after him.

Bill's fallen off a bar stool in Germany this time apparently, and broken every bone in body.

Kev has been a bit on the aggressive side for a long while now.... its all part of being Kev.

That's what got him into all sorts of trouble in the first place

Kevin is a thuggish, miserable little man. They have been split for 3 years and a half years, its time to move on. Tim is far more entertaining than Kevin who would rather parade around starting fights with people, Sally would just be dragged down by him.

I have never seen Kevin start a fight for no good reason.

I've always found Kevin a reasonable chap.

Likely as not, he'll come back this time, spot a few drops of spilt oil on the garage forecourt, and subsequently put Steph's brother in hospital for it.

Then he'll realise Tirrone took an hour off to take Roobeh for her flu jab last Thursday, and beat the living daylights out of him for his cheek.

Lastly he'll pop into the Rovers for a swift half, and break Steve's back for asking him how his trip went.
Steve was clearly taking the piss.

Pretty normal sort of day for fuming Kev really.

Nor have I, although his snotty ex-wife should be given her come-uppance, if not by Kevin, by any passing mercenary.

He's "got" issues lol - would say he's "issued" right up, haha.

Mind the gap - the ladykiller is on his way back.

I like Kev, but then again I like most of the 'thump, snort, and ask questions later' types.
