I kind of feel embarrassed every time I see DOND ratings, I remember when it used to get 3m+, not too long ago either, and now it's getting half a million.
In a shocking turn of events there will be no soap clashes between 30th June - 4th July (until ITV manufacture one in the final update 
.) EastEnders is out of slot on Monday and Tuesday though, 8.30pm and 8pm respectively, and Corrie is on for an hour on Monday at 7.30pm (originally down for 7pm, moved for a You've Been Framed repeat.)
BBC Two's The Honourable Woman starts on Thursday 3rd at 9pm, was hoping this would get a Monday slot to try and match the success of The Fall but I suppose it could still do well on Thursdays.

Everything on Channel 4 between 3-5pm used to rate well due to facing children's programmes on BBC1 & ITV. If anything Deal Or No Deal's success partially led to its downfall. It did so well against children's TV that ITV dropped children's programmes in the afternoon and BBC1 eventually did the same. More competition for Deal and The audience dropped.

BBC1 and BBC2 held on to CBBC then dropped it soon after the last digital switchover happened. They even made a thing of it on the last day.

And the thing is, even when DS don't put a +1 rating up, it doesn't mean it's below 100k. The launch of Big Brother two Thursdays ago, for example: the actual +1 rating was 115k but it was not reported by DS (neither were any other +1 ratings). They don't even stick to their own (IMO) stupid rule. And don't get me started on their new-found propensity for giving big figures to the nearest 100k and small ones to the nearest 1k...

It might do well there being the only drama option but drama on BBC2 tends to do best on Monday or Wednesday.

Spot on!
Today, I have searched MediaGuardian, ITV Media and Channel 4 Sales and found out that they have either closed down or are bad at updating. And agree with DS' ability to not show the +1 ratings, and rounding up, eg. rounding up to 2.5m for something, it could be anywhere from 2.45m-2.54m.
I can see Broadcast have a ratings page and have got one for last nights ratings but cant view it, have you got access? Or does it say the stuff that we know already?

If it stays like that, on Monday 30th EastEnders will be up against the build-up to Germany (most likely) v a minnow or unpopular country (Belgium / Algeria / Russia / South Korea) in the last-16 knock-outs. On the Tuesday, it faces the second half of Love Your Garden. Could be worse.

Interesting. Perhaps Emmerdale wasn't suitable for the Monday. Don't soap scripts ever include references to the day of the week they're airing on? I know they used to, but perhaps they avoid doing that during periods like the World Cup when they know timings are likely to change.
Maybe Framed! is a place-holder following the BBC moving first, and we'll see further change tomorrow in the finals. I hope not as I would like to see how The One Show would rate against minimal competition.
The soap thing all depends who gets which Round 2 matches. There's no Emmerdale on Monday in case ITV have the teatime match and it goes to extra time.
If BBC One has the Monday 9pm match, EastEnders won't be at 8.30pm. I'd guess they'd join it on to the Tuesday 8pm episode, push Holby to 9pm, and drop Miranda.
Wouldn't surprise me if Bergg plays silly beggars and drops a soap episode into the Friday 8pm slot where You've Been Framed currently resides.

Surprising that Germany v Portugal didnt rate better yesterday. Its 4.51m/33.5pct was less than what Columbia v Greece got on BBC1 [4.57/34.3pct] which is much lower profile game. Excellent 40pct share for Ghana v USA and even the dullest game of the tournament Iran v Nigeria got good numbers.
Celebrity Survivor is a huge mistake from Itv. Airing it early next year means that it will take important key time-slots which could've held high quality dramas. Also airing it so close to Im a Celebrity will make it seem a bit repetitve. Having this show will also make the IAC format a bit more tired when that returns in Autumn 2015. Overall, this looks like a very high profile ratings-turkey imo.

Digiguide seems to have decided all the afternoon games will be on BBC One, and all the evening ones on ITV. It's a shame no websites have the ability to accommodate alternative schedules.

Well technically they did. There were two replays. The first one was no goal and The second one was a goal. It confused a few people but Jonathan Pearce wouldn't shut up about the first replay.
Pearce and Phil Neville have overtaken Adrian Chiles as World Cup whipping boys on Twitter.
