7 or 8 million for this match tonight?? Pretty dull so far - a few shots on goal...I can see the Tiger show dropping 0.5m, Endeavour repeat under 3 million.

Does anyone know what date the schedule is decided for the knockout stages?
Indeed, we'll have to wait for the paper schedules. Maybe the Radio Times website will opt for the other versions of the schedules.

Surprising that Germany v Portugal didnt rate better yesterday. Its 4.51m/33.5pct was less than what Columbia v Greece got on BBC1 [4.57/34.3pct] which is much lower profile game.
BBC One Saturday 16:30-19:10 - Columbia v Greece: 4.57m / (34.3%) = 13.3m total TV audience ITV (inc +1 ) Monday 16:00-19:10 - Germany v Portugal: 4.51m / (33.5%) = 13.5m total TV audience Plus, as already pointed out to you by Steve in relation to another comparison you made, ITV's broadcast faced a new episode of Pointless and the strong 6pm news hour, whereas BBC One's on Saturday was competing with three repeats of LE shows and ITV's news, and had a compatible lead-in to boot (an England/Italy preview show). |

The soap thing all depends who gets which Round 2 matches. There's no Emmerdale on Monday in case ITV have the teatime match and it goes to extra time.
If BBC One has the Monday 9pm match, EastEnders won't be at 8.30pm. I'd guess they'd join it on to the Tuesday 8pm episode, push Holby to 9pm, and drop Miranda. Wouldn't surprise me if Bergg plays silly beggars and drops a soap episode into the Friday 8pm slot where You've Been Framed currently resides. |

Well technically they did. There were two replays. The first one was no goal and The second one was a goal. It confused a few people but Jonathan Pearce wouldn't shut up about the first replay.

Pearce and Phil Neville have overtaken Adrian Chiles as World Cup whipping boys on Twitter. Never liked Pearce and sad that he is the 'best' BBC commentator available - keep him on 5live where he belongs and fans can't witness his bloopers.. |

Celebrity Survivor is a huge mistake from Itv. Airing it early next year means that it will take important key time-slots which could've held high quality dramas. Also airing it so close to Im a Celebrity will make it seem a bit repetitve. Having this show will also make the IAC format a bit more tired when that returns in Autumn 2015. Overall, this looks like a very high profile ratings-turkey imo.

ITV aired a trailer of 'The Job Lot' earlier today, so should arrive on ITV2 around a similar time to Plebs. I wouldn't be surprised if they are put together.

They were clearly two separate instances within a few seconds of eachother. Nothing confusing about it, Pearce was the only one confused / causing confusion with his commentary.
It's hilarious because our Social Media Expert didn't see it coming. Jonathan Pearce did an interview to defend his performance I think. Unbelievable! |

It's funny how quickly Twitter hatred moved from Adrian Chiles/Andy Townsend/Clarke Carlisle to Jonathan Pearce/Phil Neville. That was not in some people's scripts.

Unbelievable indeed. And he's still going on about it in his commentaries instead of drawing a line under it and moving on.

Good game IMO despite the scoreline. I think ratings wise it can achieve the top end estimates. |

From the one line trolls on Twitter you'd expect glitter to pour out of BBC's set whereas ITV are presenting from a locked off camera in a bunker. |

What's the deal with the bullet hole on ITV set? Is it an in-joke or something?
