Indeed, I could see Bad Education and Good News doing brisk business in a 22:00 slot on BBC Two.

They haven't got a powerful enough microscope to count the BB audience?

What about Bad Education on BBC One. They've already been showing repeats on Friday nights after Graham Norton. Maybe show it during Graham Norton breaks on Fridays at 10:35pm?

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Countryfile that low. Didn't think Soccer Aid was the type of show that would make it plummet. Doesn't it usually get between 5-6m?

They should cancel it ASAP.

A lot of that could be people recording it.

Countryfile aired at 5pm last night because of the F1.

Being on 2 hours early might have something to do with that.

10.35pm might work. It did for Mrs Brown's Boys. But I think it could be very popular on BBC2 at 9pm.

I think if they were on between 9-10pm they might be successful there too.

French Tennis did well on ITV4 and the man channel. Midsomer Murders weekend did very well.

I think ITV3 will be the channel that benefits from the World Cup filled schedule over the next few weeks

Oh, the novelty value of seeing two C5 programmes in the day's top 10. (Obviously the sporting events taking up a big chunk of BBC/ITV airtime helped significantly, but...)

How does ITV Media arrive at 1.43M for BB? Did it finish early?

To answer my own question: overnights.tv says it ran 21:00-21:57.

So 1.5M is for 21:00-21:55 (tapechecked) and 1.43M is for the full hour.

Another reason to watch Broadchurch on ITV Encore. Extra footage for the finale, okay it's probably on the DVD but I'll still watch.

I think 1.5 million is a more typical rating for BB. However, it could get affected by the World Cup, but I think anything over a million for it would be acceptable now.

Are we sure that's not the repeat of last week's Countryfile which was on BBC1 at 1.15 pm, seems an extraordinarily low figure.
