I wouldn't. I'd never go out the house if I worked in soap and read about myself on here!

They are at least aware of it. Nick Miles off of Jimmy off of Emmerdale posts here sometimes.
Andy Sugden had a whinge about this place.

From what I see of the Eastenders writers on Twitter they are aware of certain members here, or former members (), which would suggest they've at least gave it a cursory glance.

You need thicker skin to work in show business, darling.

It's all in how you carry yourself and brush yourself off.

I know some Neighbours forums in the past have had links to people on the show answering questions etc

I'd imagine that they do, it's free feedback for a start even if it is taken with a pinch of salt. They may also check that embargo'd stories aren't leaked and nothing that would be potentially libellous/slanderous is posted.

Emma Smithwick, ex-producer of Hollyoaks, used to read the DS forums as she said it was good for feedback, however, she didn't like the mean comments people wrote about her, which is understandable.

I know a few of the Hollyoaks cast used to read it. I don't know if any of the current cast do though.

If they do, I'd think most of them would just have a laugh and not take it too seriously.
