I Really think its time He stepped up and kicked Diane to the Curb the woman treats him like Dirt and Clearly has no sense of whats right and wrong Hes right she messed up with Sinead and is trying to over compensate with Finn

Tony Deserves alot better and i really wouldn't mind if once Finn gets sent down Diane leaves for good!

Any thoughts?

Completely agree. She only cares about what she wants, I hate how she played the family card tonight, then had a rant at Tony if you don't like living in his house why doesn't she move out. Then being so offended by Tony telling some home truths but not having the same reaction when she found out her son is a vile thug. If this was the other way round or someone else had beaten up Blessing and she knew, she would be the first on there ranting and turning her nose up at them.
She's a hypocrite and Tony is better off without her, she never learns from her mistake she covered for Sinead during the bullying stuff and now she is doing the same for Finn. I think it's more to do with pride, she doesn't want people judging her so instead she covers up their bad behaviour so people think they are good.

Perhaps he'll leave Diane when the rape is exposed. Maybe he'll believe JP and Diane of course won't and finally Tony realises he can't stay with this family.

I think that is very true. She doesn't want to be thought of as a bad mother so covers up her children's mistakes no matter how abhorrent they are. I don't really think it is about caring for or protecting them, it is protecting herself.

I honestly don't know what Tony sees in her or ever did. They conceived the twins during a stupid ONS - why they couldn't have agreed to co-parent but not become a couple I don't know. The Romance has never rung true.

He has two babies with her. He's not going to walk out on them.

Had it not been for the added complication of his twins I believe Tony would have ended things with Diane by now. He deserves much, much better but he has his children to think about as well.

Diane always says how she is a terrible parent and it is true. Honestly what does she expect when she instills no discipline on her kids? Not once has she taught them morals as she is always quick to cover their crimes to 'protect them', whilst completely ignoring the fact that her silence / ignorance is bringing danger to others. Any decent human being would have reported Finn - son or no son - as he horrifically attacked an innocent woman which could have resulted in a much worse situation had Dirk not intervened when he did. By letting both her kids get away with bullying others and not facing the consequences of their actions they have become vile, disgusting people in the process.

You'd think she would have learnt all of this from her experience with Sinead. By not doing anything she played a part in Esther's suicide attempt. Now, by not reporting Finn she could be causing another victim to suffer whilst the monster continues to ruin people's lives (having already destroyed JP, Ste and Blessing's lives).

I only dread to see what Diane's reaction to JP's rape will be. Sadly I can actually see her claim that poor JP is lying and that her son could never do anything so vile.

I think she probably will think that JP's a grown man, how could he possibly be overpowered by Finn, etc. Other villagers might have the same reaction. It could be interesting if Hollyoaks ever decides to explore that.

^ Gosh, I can't handle another every one bar Ste, Robbie and the McQueens not believing JP's innocence. I think you might be right though, other than Tony, Sinead, Blessing and maybe Dirk (who is unknowingly a witness) I can see that happening. Hopefully with more supporters JP will be believed!

Diane is a joke. I've never seen a characters personality change so often based on what the story required. You'd think after everything with Sinead and Esther she'd learn to second guess the kids. They're obviously not angels.

Poor Tony doesn't deserve this, yes he can be high and mighty but normally it's because he's decent and doesn't do much wrong, whereas Diane is a total failure and blames everyone else for her shit life and her hideous children. If Tony had any sense he'd get those twins well away from her. Its a shame because Diane used to be such a lovely character but she has inevitably changed and now the whole bunch of O'Connors can do one! How can she stick up for Finn when he beat a woman? She is out of her mind!

Diane has not changed personality, or character. She's one of the few HO characters who haven't changed drastically over the past year.

She has always been an outwardly good, moral person who will happily resort to immoral, illegal actions to get the outcome she would prefer, and damn anyone else - including her own children and fiancee:

1. She had an affair with her teacher. I still laugh at how much of a pious hypocrite she was to Jen, reprimanding her, when she lived in a house payed for by her former teacher who she slept with.

2. Both her children had a child in their teens. Ironically, Bella and Katy are probably the only people other than themselves that Finn and Sinead care(d) about.

3. Diane stole another woman's child so she could become a mother, despite already having two children she had raised. If Diane had focused on looking after S & F instead of wanting her "own" child, maybe they wouldn't have ended up so abhorrent!

4. Diane covered for Sinead when she was revealed to be a vicious bully, and played a part in Esther's suicide attempt by being needlessly cruel and nasty to her. It always makes my blood boil when teacher's treat pupils like Diane did to Esther.

5. And finally, she's covering for Finn over Blessing's attack.

Being nasty to Esther, being pious to Jen, acting superior towards Ste, lining up to hate on JP, letting Blessing suffer, are we seeing a pattern here? All LGBT. So that's where Finn got the subliminally homophobic messages from - Diane fears and dislikes anyone who isn't like herself, or acts differently to her - Frankie, Cindy, Maxine.

She's a true bigot. An utterly loathsome woman. I used to like her character, but she's always been a nasty, selfish person, IMO.

I don't know much about Diane but if what you say is true then why did she reprimand Finn for using homophobic language when he exposed Ste's Cocaine addiction to Tony?

I can't bare Diane anymore I used to like her and Tony together too until they started forcing them down our throats about how they met as children and were made for each other.. Mandy will always be his true love

Because she's not outwardly homophobic. She doesn't think she is.

So seeing as Finn was obviously, publicly being homophobic to Ste, she reprimanded him. She doesn't want anyone to see her family as homophobes.

But subliminally, without even realizing it, she always acts nasty and judgmental to people who are different to her - gay, poor, troubled etc. Look at Cindy and the McQueens. She clearly saw Cindy as inferior when they were both vying for Patrick last year; looked down on Bart and his family as dirt, unfit for her (non) daughter; even judged Maxine and JP for their actions when she had no idea what situation they're in.

Most people keep their opinions to themselves, at least in public. But Diane thinks that people care what she thinks about them.

I don't actually hate Diane as much as it may seem. Her attitude is very similar to many characters in HO and EE, and it's one I really loathe.

I really wish Jaci would come back

I know there is no chance at all but IF Tony were to ever leave the show I would hope it would be in the back of a taxi with his one true love

I cannot stand Diane and her horrible step children
