Daily Mirror review of Tuesday 3rd Mays EastEnders
EastEnders Ian Beale and Phil Mitchell aka Phian are no more as Lucy murder questions break bromance
No wonder Tosh had the right hump says Endertainment reporter, Katy Brent BBC A distraught Ian denies Phil's accusations Tonight's EastEnders was just as fast paced as the Ian and Phil bromance - but let's not start there. “It’s so grown up,” said Tina, 40, to Dean who put her hair into a half ponytail which would apparently cost her a fortune in Hoxton. But then considering Tina usually wears her hair in pigtails, owns fairy wings and spent most of tonight’s episode dressed as an ostrich, it probably was the most mature hairstyle she’s ever had. Teamed with a market dress that looked like it was kicked off Strictly Come Dancing for being TOO sequined and not to mention Tina deciding it was a good idea to get well and truly hammered before her girlfriend’s big night, it’s no wonder Tosh had the hump. Living with Tina is very clearly like living with some weird hybrid of a six-year-old girl and a stroppy teen. I know we’re not supposed to like Tosh, but Tina is annoying. Really annoying. Like when your eye does that horrible twitchy thing. Tina heads to The Albert for some dutch courage before her night out with Tosh but she ends up getting drunk Elsewhere it looks like the bromance between Phil and Ian is coming to an end, as Phil – who has comforted Ian while he’s been in absolute bits – did a complete 180 and decided that Ian might know more about Lucy’s death than he’s letting on. He’ll be flushing his head down the bog again in no time. But onto tonight’s lessons Bianca really should make more of an effort She seemed totally shocked that she couldn’t sell a tarty dress to Tina, even though she had a face like a wet weekend in Southend and was wearing what can only be described as a shell suit top. It’s saying something when Tina, who’s not known for her own killer style turns her nose up. You won’t be able to ‘have a few good days on the stall’ with that sort of attitude, young lady. Billy should learn to close the door ‘The door was open’ said Honey as she breezed in and caught Billy with the kids’ passports in one hand and a lighter in the other. THE DOOR WAS OPEN?! Have a word with yourself Billy mate, you’ve got three kids in that flat and there was a brutal murder a few weeks ago. That’s not going to win a custody battle for you now, is it? HMMMM? Tina needs to broaden her horizons. Maybe to Hoxton “Where am I going to get a cocktail dress from in Walford?” she wailed. I don’t know Tina, how about trying somewhere other than Walford? What about venturing to this ‘Hoxton’ place that everyone keeps mentioning? Actually no, David Wicks was the last person to try to leave the square and that didn’t work out so well for him. Actually, as it's Tina, I'll buy her a ticket. Special mention to: Honey and her Honeyerisms “It’s not like we’ve ever been bosom bunnies,” she told Roxy. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-review...e-phil-3641748 |
