Is there going to be a normal Fame Academy this year? I really missed it last year and thought that the Bursery thing was a waste of time.

Probably not because it was crap.

Actually I think Fame Academy is a very good show. I just cannot understand why you choose to come on this board if you do ot like Fame Academy.

It's probably because her favourite didn't win?

I thought I saw a Fame Academy audition advert in my local newspaper, South London Press.

It's a good show... they just got to get that rude guy from Celebrity Come Dancing involved in the next series.

He's got the right name - Revel - I always spit the orange ones out or give them to the dog

Hope fame academy does come back on but I hope they use the first series format for the programme, they had to much freetime in the second series.

The programme won't be back if this interfering govt. has anything to do with it as the talentless puppet, Tessa Jowell just announced.

Don't worry about her, she'll be gone after the election - whatever the result.

I'm trying to will Richard into name dropping celeb judges for a new series, but we all know he isn't likely to, as their is probably not going to be an FA3.

So have they really gone to all the trouble of the new building and decor just for the Celebrity version? Seems a waste for less than two weeks tV

Remember "El Dorado"?

Thought not. Failed BBC soap - cost millions.

There was mention on here that the celeb version would appear at the top of the year and the F.A. 3 in the autumn.

Exactly what I thought. I can't believe that many people will even see much of the house in Celebrity FA, whereas it really comes into it's own in the 'normal' version.

Having said that, the building isn't very well suited to the normal version - how on earth would they stop people outside from holding signs up etc? It's not very well shielded from the outside world.

David Blane's box was infront of the Academy. He had a lot if trouble with disturbances.

I dont think they'd go to all the trouble of building an entirely new set including a seperate one for the BBCThree show, just for a two week show. I hope they bring it back with the format of the first series, with the group performances etc. It really made it stand out and was so different to Pop Idol. I think that's why series 2 didnt really work, the set was too small and the individual performances had no theme running through them, whereas Pop Idol had very clear themes for each week.
