Can you recommend me a shop bought salad dressing?
Hi
Trying to encourage a someone person to eat salad with no luck. The tarter dressings haven't went down well so just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for something a bit sweeter or fresher. |

I love heinz salad cream but recently I have been enjoying
Morrison's light salad cream 285g= in a slim tall glass bottle with a nice blue label I enjoy this equally as much and will probably always buy it in future It is also much cheaper than the bigger brands which is a bonus I am on my second bottle ~as I have it every day on salads and many other things good luck x |

I make my own at home with a small aubergine.
Sainsbury's Dill dressing is one of the few I buy. |

![]() Which can be irritating, yes, but when it comes to salad dressings, it's literally seconds to prepare. OP, try a Thousand Island dressing, which is mayonnaise-based and also contains ketchup, so is sweeter than the vinegar-based ones. |

I like Paul Newman's "Newman's Own" range. Italian or balsamic - they're both delicious!

I make my own from vinegar I have brewed from grapes and oil I have pressed from Italian olives. I sweeten it with honey collected from wild bees in Crete and season it with mustard powder from dried mustard plants grown in Norfolk and blah blah blah blah

Not a big salad dressing person but I do like Wetherspoons' blue cheese and spring onion dressing. If anyone knows of a shop bought version let me know!

![]() Yes, because it's healthier! If people want to eat salads, they want to eat healthy. There is nothing healthy about ready made dressings that are full of unhealthy additives, artificial flavours and colours, and I'm sure many of them are GMO too. It would be much better to make your own at home by using fresh, good quality olive oil or any other fresh ingredients. What's the point in eating salads if you're going to put unhealthy stuff in it? Just enjoy your McDonalds, at least you are not fooling yourself that you are eating healthy. |

The OP didn't mention about wanting the person to eat healthier. They just said they wanted them to eat salads.
And why would you want a person to eat salads if they don't like eating it, if not for healthy reasons? |
