I have a DVD-L50EB portable DVD player which hasn't been used for a number of years. Unfortunately the battery pack was left attached and I now find that it should not have been so. The consequence is that it will not now charge. Can anyone tell me if I can connect it with a mains cable and if so where to purchase one? The cost of a replacement battery pack is between £70 and £80 and since the unit is very seldom used this is more than I want to pay.
