I haven't got it yet - just taken my new N5 out of the box and no updates available.

What changes?

As far as I can tell the only visible changes are related to the dialer. The way the contracts are displayed.

It's a 0.0.1 release. It was only really ever going to be bugfixes and maybe the odd visual tweak. 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 didn't bring anything new to the table either, really.

Presumably all the good stuff will come out at Google I/O at the end of the month.

Downloaded and installed about an hour ago. As already mentioned this is all under the bonnet stuff apart from the slightly jazzed up dialler. But as a jump from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3 I don't think it was meant to be anything else.

Apparently supposed to address some bluetooth issues and battery drain problems when using the camera but that is too early to assess yet.

Google I/O is scheduled for end June and it's already rumoured that 4.5 will roll out after that. This is scheduled to be a much bigger update.

I've had it for 2 days. A 0.0.1 update isn't going to change a massive amount visually, especially now google is moving it's apps to the playstore, i.e. a few months back the camera got a huge update etc etc, but via the playstore, this means functionality can be added without waiting for a system update. The downside is it makes the updates a bit more boring.

Either way, people have reported better battery, better reception on LTE, bluetooth fixed, and the camera humm removed.

There was over 4000 bugs fixed in the change log.

Not just avaliable on the N5. I downloaded it tonight to my N4.

I just sideloaded it earlier tonight.

Mainly bug fixes, dialler change and google play had changed slightly when installing apps as well.

Not received the OTA yet.
Can I sideload it without unlocking the bootloader?

My Nexus 4 updated last night. I'm still to get the software update on my Nexus 7 2012 version.

I've not got it on any of the 5 N7s (2013) in my possession.

Or on my N5.

Google release these things gradually. Or rather incrementally.

It might go something like 0.1% of devices, then an hour later 1%, then the next day 5%, day after that another 10% then another 10% then the rest.

To see if problems are reported.

My Nexus 7 (2013) has updated to 4.4.3 but I'm still waiting for the N5 to receive the update.
On the N7 you can't really see any difference, though I haven't played around with it since the minor update.

I'd have been interested if I still had my Nexus 7 to see if it was less shit with 4.4.3 on it.

It hasn't hit my Nexus 5 yet, which hasn't had any noticeable issues anyway. I'll wait.

I just read there are two slightly different versions of the actual phone. The latest version has slightly bigger speaker holes. Think it's bad that it's random whether you get the revised version or the original. I think Amazon sent me the original

P.S. just had an alert to say 4.4.3 is available.

In this house so far only the N10 has received it over the air. 5 and 7 not yet.

It makes no odds really. I have a second revision 5 since I dropped my first one down the loo. My Mrs has the rev 1 and the sound is identical. Other than the bigger holes, the hardware is identical.
