Some sites such as john lewis say it doesn't but others such as pc world say it does.
Does anyone know for certain? Thanks.

Richersounds site also says that it doesn't have BBC iPlayer (ITVPlayer and 4oD) and the screenshot here (near the bottom of the page) would indicate the same

Ask Currys and PCWorld for a demo

I believe it does have BBC iplayer - see here...

Richers look to have screwed up on the specs they are showing for the 6400, e.g. they are stating a quad processor, and 400hz.

Unless there's been some kind of blip on specs, the 6400 has a dual-core processor and 200hz motion engine.

As far as I know, quad processors start with the 7000 and 8000 range.

You can 'phone or email Samsung UK support for this TV. Scroll nearly all the way down this page to 'Can't find what you need?' http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE40H6400AKXXU. I downloaded the manual but it doesn't say anything about iplayer. It was however listed on the apps screen photo (top row 2nd from left) underneath the text heading 'Enjoying Smart TV is now easier and faster', on this page: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/t...UE40H6400AKXXU

The specification page mentioned by evil c on http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/t...UE40H6400AKXXU shows it has a quad core processor and a CMR of 400.

It states at the bottom of the page "Catch up apps available now or coming soon on all 2014 Smart TVs (H4500-HU8500)". Since I was considering this TV myself, I hope it is available soon, if it isn't already.

Looking around, I came across three people on the John Lewis site reporting sound synchronization problems with the 32" version of this model:

It looks like a re-vamp of the 6500, but with a quad core processor.

But in the reviews I've seen, the motion management has been criticised far more than the F6500 has.

Strange.

I see Richers have a 40" Ultra HD 4K Samsung for 899, which looks tasty.
