Has anyone got into/back into Coronation street the last couple of weeks

I used to rarely watch Coronation Street, hardly ever only when it was a big episode coming up but I am now really enjoying it and have watched regularly the last couple of weeks.

I really like the Tina stroyline, however i know not everyone on here is a fan of it I think it's interesting.

Has anyone else started watching it since or got back into the show again

I'm enjoying it, glad to see the Tina story not so central

Yeah if has the right balance as they are focusing on the other characters Aswell including peters alcohol problems, Carla's miscarriage.

I also think eastenders are getting the balance right with Lucy's whodunit as other storylines are happening aswell

Just started watching again today. I've been on hiatus since Haley's death.

Me too but it's been good the past two weeks.

I hadn't watched for weeks, the storylines and the acting had become abysmal. But a fairy has waved her magic wand and, Hey-Ho, we have a great show running at present. I hope the production team can keep up this standard.

Stopped watching a while ago, watched last week and now I've stopped again. There are too many characters in it that piss me off.

True, H.J.Simpson; but the three worst - Sophie, Muddie and Faye - seem to have been quietly axed and Katy is going soon, so I find the show watchable now.

It's not been bad this year- just pretty quiet, which is probably a good thing.

I tried to get back into it for Hayley's death, but couldn't. I think it was because; while Roy and Hayley were heartbreaking and compelling, there were too many unlikable characters shoved in there (well, mainly Fizz, but her voice seriously grates on me) and I got annoyed at Hayley's actual death because so many people wouldn't p*ss off and leave poor Roy alone to say his last goodbye.

Again, tried to get back in to it with Tina's death (and secretly still hoping it was all a con, and she really got her happy ending with Graham coming back and whisking her off on his rickshaw) but while I was surprised by how good some of the characters turned out to be (Rob and Tracey for a start: never thought I'd end up loving Tracey so much, and it's a shame Rob will leave because she'll probably go back to being unlikable afterwards) but there's still too many characters I can't stand on screen.

So, not hooked, but I did watch the whole week bar Monday, and I'll keep abreast of the story and tune back in for the reveal.

Yip, I am back watching it regularly the last time I did that was in the early 00s, over the years I have just dipped in and out with stories I have liked the look off, normally the climax to stories.
