Apparently they're having something for the Tour de France, maybe something will happen then?

I love Emmerdale's stunts

I thought it was just a joke, but we'll see.

if there is a stunt, I'd expect it to be in the autumn at least since there's nothing huge listed for the summer storylines.

Perhaps it is just a surprise stunt. Emmerdale has been keeping a lot of things close to its chest lately.

If it is I can't wait, Emmerdale stunts are the best!

I think my favourite ever is the Kings show home explosion. I wasn't watching then but I've seen it on Youtube.

Also Gennie's crash and the flood, of course.

It'll be hard to top Gennie's car crash, which was just amazing, and the siege. But I'm sure they'll match it.

Fingers crossed it's more exciting than Eric drifting gently to earth.

Another one? I love Emmerdale but they really should stay away from stunts for awhile. I'm probably alone in this, but I thought the storm and the flood actually took away from the drama of the Cameron storyline. The acting between the three main characters was excellent but the rain made it impossible to see, and sometimes hear, the actors outside the Woolpack, and I felt the flood was unnecessary. As I said it was technically excellent, but I would have preferred them to just focus on delivering really great script allowing the actors to knock it out of the park, there was enough tension in the siege without the need for everything else.

Drama, for me, is about great acting and writing, that's what soaps should focus on imo.

I remember the 2005-2008 era. We used to have at least 10 stunts a year haha! Looks like it's going back to that.

As terrible as that lot are i'd rather Val and Eric and Kerry and Dan went before them. It's those four idiots with their silly childish stories and grotesque gurning and ham acting that is ruining the show. Chris Chittle's acting was making me wince tonight. Just cringeworthy gurning and a supermarket full of ham.

Spunger - are these your new 'in' words? You say them as often as 'Katie', 'Oates' and 'ratings'.
