Corrie I wish Rob would shut up
Whilst I have enjoyed Corrie the last couple of weeks (as have my friends) I am getting annoyed because Rob suddenly puts on the brotherly act & supports Carla & keeps saying to her how 'Peter isn't going to get away with this'. That is annoying when he keeps repeating the same things over again & how he is trying to get into Carla's good books, at one time he disapproved her because she was with Peter!

Trying to divert suspicion, maybe? And he hates Peter.

Rob just hates Peter even more because of the affair, and Rob is just trying to support Carla and letting her know that he is there for her. Last year, he didn't really get on with Carla

I can guess that he hates Peter for the affair & that he's trying to divert suspicion, yes but I don't like how he keeps going on about how he's going to make Peter pay.

It's a shame they've made him into a sociopath. I was enjoying his relationship with Carla until he tried to pin the murder on Peter.

I'm surprised Peter hasn't booted him out of the bookies.

He is looking for someone else to blame, not only to divert any suspicion away form himself but also so he doesn't have to face up to what he's done.

Rob is blaming Peter for everything and is pinning his guilt of killing Tina onto him because part of his motive was to protect Carla from Peter's affair with Tina - so Rob's probably thinking it's his fault that he was driven to murder.

It's basic avoidance psychology. |
