Okay before everyone goes mental here, I stand for same sex marriage and believe in equality. However you have got to understand that some people are religious and in their eyes gay marriage is wrong. But does that make them homophobic ? all they're doing is following what the bible tells them ??

But what bothers me is that when they pick and choose what they believe. I'm sure being a good catholic using your body for profit is a sinful and shameful act. As well as all the other contradictions and allowances she makes in her daily life.

By all means have your religious convictions but either follow it in it's entirety or stop dressing up your bigotry.

I would have posted in the other thread however it’s been closed, but I just to want to put a point across in response to people accusing her of being homophobic - there are also people that are gay that don’t believe in same sex marriage but I doubt they will be called homophobic!

Yeah I don't think she's homophobic, she doesn't seem to be malicious or bigoted in any way. I can't say the same for her religion unfortunately. The catholic church certainly is homophobic among other things. But she's perfectly entitled to her religious beliefs.

As long as she doesn't rub her religion in our faces, I personally don't have a problem with her.
