Just posting this because i haven't seen a thread for it and i know a few people on here travel up to the set.

"@matt_diangelo: Msg for fans that come to the EE set for autographs "under no circumstances are we allowed to stop." Im really sorry guys. X ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

Seems residents in the area were complaining.

I suppose if your street was clogged up with people everyday, Standing at the entrance, parking cars and blocking the road you would complain too

Also if they are stopping the actors as they leave then that will block the road up too

Of course, it's a shame but reasonable imo.

To be honest, It's perfectly reasonable imo. A shame for the fans who do go there, but makes sense.

I'm sure most of them are respectful. Unless they are flinging themselves in front of actors cars or stopping actors walking out. I can imagine there must be crazy fans who go wild when they see their favourite actors.

Guess it's not a unreasonable request if the residents have people hanging about it can get grating, I wouldn't like it and can become a nonsense.

Damn, I didn't realise that standing outside the studios and loudly singing "I Will Always Love You" to Sam Strike on a loop for twelve hours was going to have repercussions further down the line.

I doubt it is the actors complain so much as the other residents which is fair enough. The fans will have to be waiting at the gates, maybe for hours (they won't be allowed onto the BBC property itself so will be on a Street) and then if the actors cars stop for them to get out that could cause traffic jams.

I think it is perfectly reasonable for the residents to object if it is causing them a public nuisance in terms of traffic jams and also just having strangers sitting on their pavement for hours on end.

It's all your fault! Are you proud now, are you?!

I'd bring him out of his shell.

I did wonder why a member of security forcibly removed me from the area. Apparently Sam was "unable to leave the building" while "the crazy woman was still out there."

Scary! could you imagine waking up to that outside your door

I was speaking to someone who goes frequently & she said they say it all the time but some of the actors still stop so guess it's up to the individual.

I can't tell if your being facetious or serious here - I'm guessing the former. Not that I'd blame you, I probably would do the same

Neither do I, elly. Neither do I

The truth is I'd be too shy and introverted to even consider doing that. If I passed him in the street I'd probably go all shy and red-faced and wouldn't know what to say to him.

Oh and song choice wise I'd have gone for Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse Of The Heart.

Yeah it must be frustrating for residents if they are causing disruption and noise. The same people wouldn't like it if you were down their street disrupting them. But then some people can be very selfish and self centered.

I'm fairly sure that anybody that does harrass the actors (or cause a nuisance to the residents come to that) wouldn't be self aware enough to joke about it.

My first thought was sympathy for Mona as she used to visit Elstree a lot.

You really can't blame residents for objecting to that kind of thing can you.

Never was such a fuss made about such a terrible character.

Hahaha I wasn't being completely serious - both me and elly have a crush on the guy so I was just saying I wouldn't blame her if she did. I knew she was kidding really. Honest!

Like I said in the later comment I'm way too shy to even consider that. I wouldn't wanna scare Sam Strike off tbh. He's too gorgeous.
