Why can't I see it?”

Quite a number of those chanels listed not available on the channel store, can anyone with the update confirm if they are all there after the update. I'm prticularly interested in the paranormal ones.

Interesting, it doesn't include the BBC Sport app, but I thought this was now available on the Now TV box (mine hasn't been updated yet)

Yes, it is. That list has a lot of errors, I can see Weather Underground on it and that isn't on the box. To answer Gerry's question, the only paranormal-ish channel I can see is "Aliens and UFOs".

Just got my Roku 2 XS today from Amazon (was £40), overall it seems like a decent improvement over my NowTV box.

- it's black so goes with all my other TV equipment.
- 1080p playback.
- plays MKVs from my NAS.
- RF remote control (always a plus IMO)
- Plex support with side loading

I'm sure there will be many more features as I mess about with it but at least ITV player is there ATM.

I will point out that it was 4 times more expensive than my NowTV box which I shall move to the bedroom.

I have the ITV Player on my Roku3. It says 7 days catch up but I can only find one episode of Coronation Street, Emmerdale or Heartbeat for example, not the whole weeks episodes.

They are all there on my Roku 2 XS but it's a bit awkward to get to.

When I play the latest episode of Coronation Street (13/6/14) and let it go past the adverts and then pause it, there is an option at the bottom left saying "View all episodes". When I click it I can select episodes all the way back to the 19th of May.

I can't find another way to get past episodes so if anyone does let us all know

I would not have found that.
Thanks very much, you have made my day.

NP Glad to help

I have so far watched about 5 hours of catchup on ITV player without any issues so, so far so good!

Fifteen minutes ago, my box still hadn't auto-updated. Lost patience and did a factory reset. That has fixed it. I now have ITV Player and BBC Sport. I like the new interface. Not so keen on having to reload Plex though.

Got update, noticed LED is dimmer - doesn't seem to be an option to change.

My imagination? Seduced by something new and shiny? Or, post-upgrade, are the apps quicker to load and more stable? BBC iPlayer and 4OD used to be a pain before. Not any more. Even Plex seems to load faster than before. Fingers crossed that it's more stable because, just recently, it has been driving me mad with constant server disconnects.

As in previous posts try doing a factory reset first

Cheers, I made that post quite a while ago and despite resetting the box it still didn't update however, I got the new version yesterday evening.

box finally updated today. put in my scottish postcode and only got itv2, 3 and 4, no itv1. so had to change the postcode to an english one and hey presto all itv stations are there. just a word of warning to scots who want to see emmerdale and corry

Another heads up, when my box updated itself, ITV Player would only play the adverts then go back to the menu!

I removed the channel then added it again and seems to be OK now.

I wonder if STV intend to put their player on Now TV?

Does anyone else have the problem with iPlayer where the sound can be heard a few seconds before the picture?

Yes, pretty much every time.
I just hit the rewind button and the picture/as it should together.

Strange I have yet to encounter this issue with iPlayer.

You don't have to pause it, pressing either the up or down arrows brings up the same screen.

You can also use the REW/FFD buttons to scroll through the playback of the programmes, but, annoyingly, not the adverts!

Thanks, that's a good workaround.

What would be really good if the black borders top and bottom were made transparent so you can actually see the first few seconds of the programme.

Yeah the issue is you have to watch adverts for an episode you don't want to see in order to get past episodes.

It's not the most annoying thing in the planet but it would be good if they allowed you to see past episodes without doing this.

Since the update neither iPlayer nor the BBC Sport app work at all for me. I just get a black screen.
