I've just been upgraded to this from an S2 which I loved but the battery was knackered.

The problem I've got is that my old SIM doesn't fit in the new phone - it seems too big.

Do I need to get a special SIM or am I just being a bit dense?

I believe the S5 uses a micro sim card. If the upgrade was through your mobile operator they should have provided you with a new simcard.

If you bought the S5 yourself, you can get micro sim cutter of sites like ebay, or you could phone up your provider, or visit one of their shops and they should sort you out with a new, correct size sim with the same number.

I HATE this phone, it's unnecessarily complicated, messy looking and just bloody smug

I'm going to continue using the S2, even though the battery life is now only about 20 mins

Get a new battery for the S2. Simple. Sell your S5 if you don't like it.

Did smug come with an update or did you get it with the phone?
