Hollyoaks have had some great villains, Silas stands out more than most to me. He was frightening.

Saying that no one has angered me as much as Frank Foster in Corrie. Watching him on screen made me feel sick to my stomach. Mad Maya was also a good villain but in a different way.

I think all soaps have come out with some truly horrible characters, who've really rattled me. But Hollyoaks seems to have had more of them. I am really enjoying Sienna right now, she's done some bad things but you can also sympathise with her having been brought up by Patrick, and she's also been through a lot in her life. Patrick is another one who really infuriates me, can't wait until the truth comes out about him!

Jez Quigley was my all time favourite villain closely followed by Cameron Murray. Pat Phelan is also very good, hope he returns to Corrie. The sexiest villains however are Cain Dingle and Steve Owen.

Jim McDonald and Jez Quigley were two other great bad guys.

I like a fictional bad boy. Hollyoaks have created some great bad boys, both sympathetic and otherwise, including my all-time favourite soap character, Brendan Brady - not currently, though. Also Brookside had its fair share - remember Tommy McArdle? And, of course, Barry Grant.

Same here - both Frank Foster and Finn O Connor are 100% evil. Patrick also has no redeeming qualities. It's ironic the way Sally fell for Frank (though I can see how and why it happened) when she was so harsh on poor John Stape.

John Stape and Tony Gordon were my two favourites. We all knew John's heart was in the right place despite his idiotic mistakes and his guilt and mental breakdowns redeemed him in my eyes. Typically the law just placed the label "murderer" on him and ignored everything else and everyone's initial reaction was to think he was the "devil" and his suffering (though he brought it on himself) was swept under the carpet until Fiz finally found it in her heart to forgive him.

With Tony Gordon I initially disliked him but found him interesting to watch, but after Carla left him and he fell in love with Maria and grew to love baby Liam as his own, I started to like him and feel sorry for him so I was saddened when he finally handed himself in and everyone said he was a "monster" - I don't think he was really. It's a shame he acted "holier than thou" with Carla and didn't show her his vurnerability when she confronted him over his relationship with Maria but Carla did accept towards the very end that he really did love Maria. If only the idiot hadn't blabbed to Roy, he could have had everything.

I initially found Browning interesting with his fascinating obsession with Mercedes and I saw how the Lynsey Nolan murder happened in the heat of the moment and that she was very provocative (not that this excuses what Browning did) but they ruined him later on and he was beyond redemption when he tried to kill Myra.

I would say hollyoaks, but they also produce alot of crap villains - fraser, grace, trevor for example.

Corrie without a doubt.
