Yes they were given a second task where they got wet and marked their territory. I thought it was just so they could not bother showing the grooming task but it seems they're going to show both.

I'm not surprised BB have removed the grooming video - too much incriminating evidence! However it's been copied onto Daily Motion and also one of Team Chris has downloaded a copy for safe keeping so they can't totally wipe it from history.
This is pretty nasty stuff.
I don't think BB have ever smeared somebody in such a low manner like this ever.
Yes, there was Callum, but that was more about him being weird and clingy, this thing with Chris is something else. And it comes across as much more sinister by the way in which they're doing it.
This is life ruining stuff they're getting involved with.

I don't know if this has been commented on anywhere else - probably has - but one good thing about yesterday's HLs which flies in the face of the "creepy" notion was Chris leaving Ashleigh alone when she didn't want to talk - "I'm here if you want me" or WTTE and walking out the door. Quite a contrast with e.g., the incident of Mark telling Christopher he's worried about him and pestering him to get out of bed.

I've given up watching the highlights (I'm recording them and I'll probably only watch them when this whole sorry mess is done and dusted) but I'm glad to hear they toned down the edit. I checked Twitter and the reaction was pretty mild too - although unless the search is playing up it does seem like people have stopped tweeting #BBUK that much in the past few days. There only ever seems to be a trickle of Tweets rather than the usual flood.

The flip side though is that, because hardcore fans rely on YouTube and the website to find out what's happening on the day, then come and discuss it all on Facebook, Twitter and forums like this, the damage was already done. That video had about 5000 hits, twice as many as the others from that task. As much as it's a good thing that BB realised they'd done something offensive, it's wrong for them to cover their tracks. If they make that kind of massive error they need to be big enough to own it. It's so cowardly that when they feel a backlash they just delete all the negative comments.

It turns out Dr Detroit from BB Couch Potatoes was the one who saved the video to Daily Motion and his show last night was pretty explosive about the subject (basically saying Chris would be within his rights to sue). If anyone's interested I'll hunt out the link to the podcast for you later when it's archived. So the video's in safe keeping, we have the massive thread on here with all its "Chris was loving it" comments and BBSpy ran an article on the backlash (I even got a Tweet quoted on that which then got read out on Couch Potatoes, go me!)

http://www.bbspy.co.uk/bb15/news/080...-straddle-task

So this is one genie that ain't going back in his bottle.

(PS: Phew about the nominations, fingers crossed for no stupid twists!)

Here's the twist. http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1994080

I'm fuming, they will obviously nominate Chris I still think that he could survive this week though. He is more popular than Mark on all the forums.

It's really annoying when we can't even celebrate nominations results because we know there's going to be some stupid twist that will ruin it.
I long for the days when they'd all nominate in the DR, we'd see who was up, and lines would open without any interference, twists, or changes along the way.

However, that was less common that it usually seems, even in BBs generally considered popular and successful.

Post re bb5: "barely 1 week of completely normal noms."

Post re bb7: only "One standard week of everyone having 2 nominations each, one housemate evicted."

BB got away with so much over the years that the producers have few, if any, standards left.

Here's the twist. http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1994080

The money part is just an excuse for giving the nominated HMs the power to put someone up.

I'm not sure they will pick Chris, but it's outrageous whoever they pick (yes, even if it's Ash).

Note that they didn't announce this twist until they knew who'd been nominated.

Mark is still a lot more disliked than Chris, so hopefully he'll be fine...

Some people are saying that it's a double eviction which will suck if Chris is up

One of Chris, Ashleigh or Ash will be joining the nominees.
They obviously won't pick Ash...

And it looks like it's going to be a double.

I think I'm done with this show now.

I've been taking it a day at a time and usually record the highlight show rather than watch them "live", because I don't enjoy the kind of "tension" and "excitement" that's created by the ever present possibility of another manipulation, twist, or dubious edit.

It's outrageous for the nominated HMs to be able to pick someone to join them, but BB got away with it in the crypt twist in bb12, so I'm not surprised they've used it again, just angry and disappointed.

If I'm being honest, I'd rather vote Christopher over Mark, who I still find entertaining despite people turning against him.

And that's why Chris will go. Because all Chris fans need to concentrate on just one person.
Let the mainstream viewers evict Mark. That's a given.
All Chris fans need to target one of the others, and only one
(well, you can throw 1 or 2 in for Mark as well, if you want - as there's never any room for complacency).

It's my opinion that we should NOT be targetting Christopher (even though it was him who speaks for the 4 nominees and puts Chris's name forward).

As it stands, Christopher is probably the safest of the 5 who are up.
Besides that, I like him, lol.

Mark and Chris will be the two favourites to be evicted.
So we would need to target whichever one of Pav or Winston who is the most likely to go.

Let's wait to see the polls and odds first, maybe?
