OP, how about République de Côte d'Ivoire

I'll be staying up for this one.
Would probably have gone over the characters limit

Yeah it should be a good game.

The Côte d'Ivoire?! If English was good enough for Jesus Christ then it's good enough for the Ivory Coast government!

This whole thread was in jest, an in-joke, made early to mock the match threads, it's in fitting with this section now though so use this to discuss the game or create another thread.

I remember the South Korea Vs Spain Match in USA 94 was a 12:30 starter so that must have ended around 2:15.

Watching a game that starts at 2:00am is going to be a new experience for me.

Hopefully Australia never host the World Cup as the kickoff times would be a nightmare.

I think both these teams will beat Greece now, I think this is now pretty much a knock out match as I expect Colombia will go through

You should see some of the other names. I'm currently using Sporcle to learn all the countries of the world. Burkina Faso, anyone? Guinea-Bissau? It's been a steep learning curve

1.30 on Saturday morning and the moment the BBC coverage finishes, you switch over and the ITV coverage is just starting.

Great. What does the coverage begin with? The very thing I do not want to see. Thanks ITV.
