The Fantasy Festival Thread
Scraggy Taters
08-06-2014
As the organiser of your very own Fantasy Festival, YOU decide which acts from any era/ genre would appear on stage.
No holds barred.. deceased performers are allowed, (whether as main vocalist or former band-member) it is a fantasy line-up after all !!

I'll kick off with these seven for my Fantasy Festival :

Arctic Monkeys
Depeche Mode
Electric Light Orchestra
Inspiral Carpets
New Order
Stereophonics
The Hollies

How many are allowed?

Britney Spears
Katy Perry
Lady Gaga (as long as she doesn't vomit on stage and call it art!)
Beyonce
Rihanna
The Saturdays
Pixie Lott
Katy B
Little Mix
Girls Aloud
Sugababes/MKS
Alexandra Burke
Caro Emerald
Lana Del Rey
Lily Allen
Bat For Lashes
Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Roisin Murphy
Future Perfect
Northern Kind
Parralox
Charli XCX
Loreen
Jamie Lynn Spears (gotta have Britney's little sis - she's got a few songs out but she's country music rather than pop)
Janet Jackson
Justin Timberlake
Little Boots
Marina and the Diamonds
Jennifer Lopez

That lineup would probably cover a whole weekend

I'm only picking the artists where I like more than 5 of their songs, each set would need to be 30 minutes minimum, and reflect my tastes as of Summer 2014.

Pet Shop Boys V
Depeche Mode V
Gardens & Villa V
Here We Go Magic V
Museum of Bellas Artes A
Washed Out V
Soft Metals A
Boat Club A
Studio A
The Daysleepers A
Labyrinth Ear A
Ice Choir A
AgesandAges A
Beach House A
House of Hats A
Belle and Sebastian V
Temples A
Tame Impala A
Smith Westerns A
The Pierces A
Our Lost Infantry A
The Mary Onettes V
The Magic Numbers A
Killing Joke V
Com Truise V
Yukon Blonde V

I did kind of create my own festival line-up last year, I called it Dowdsload. It was made up of the artists I like who played at UK festivals (and one or two US fests).

V means I choose the setlist from various albums
A means they play 1 album in full
