It's now the headline on the mail online.
Perhaps it raises the debate on media bias again. Whatever happened to proper journalism. |

Who the hell are our PR representitves, didn't they foresee the fall-out over this ?
The media storm is growing, not just in the tabloids but in the broadsheets as well. Obviously some of it is now being twisted out of all proportion, but for that Chelsea have only got themselves to blame. |

Too true. I despair at the idiots Roman employs to run the club, I really do. They regularly screw up, considering the amount of PR disasters we've had in the last few years, but funnily enough we never see their heads roll.
She was well liked by the players and fans alike, and respected by many outside the sphere of the club. You can't buy that kind of positive publicity, and she happened to be damned good at her job as well. Now Mourinho and the club are left looking the villains of the piece, and it's not going to be easy to turn that around. It all seems so unnecessary over such a trivial incident. |

Yes, what makes me angry is that Eva Caneiro was such a positive asset for the club. I know that's mainly because she was attractive and one of the few women to be seen regularly in the mans's world that is professional football. Nevertheless she was a role model for young women and certainly didn't do our image any harm at all.

It's a sour note to start the season on, that's for sure. Mourinho's certainly succeeded in deflecting discussion away from what sounded like yet another below-par performance. Any more incidents like this and if the football doesn't start to get back to the more entertaining stuff we saw in the first half of last season then I can see the tide of support starting to turn against him. |

So you are 2-2 looking for a winner, one of your players goes down because he is tired when you are already a man down, the staff go on, but jose doesn't criticise the player?

A really bizarre way to start the season. Been blown up way out of proportion. If it was a bloke or some ugly bird no one would care. Agree though, Chelsea's PR is just shocking.
Be better off having Max Clifford run it from the knick. |

Because wenger (fans hate him), Rodgers (completely useless, only just kept his job), lvg (sold his uk record transfer after a year, froze players out and it useless) and the city "manager" (dead man walking, keeping the seat warm for pep) are all fantastic.

Hope your right, well see.
Let's take. Step back, Jose has identified a problem with our medical team. I'm sure it was the last straw and not the only thing. Perhaps it IS a problem that Eva is having a lot of publicity before this, I don't know any other club doctors that are so famous. It's sad that it's only because she is a woman. However, the newspapers and broadcast media have put this on the front page or the top story in a bulletin. How ridiculous. Unfortunately the uk media do try and knock the team at the top, and wring as much as they can out of what is a tiny story. Now we have a thread here, I guess so that the abc's can vent their anger. |

I think it's chelsea fans who are laughing all the way to the trophy cabinet It didn't work out, he no longer looked arsed and we got most of our money back. If you want to start to bringing up expensive flops then I'm sure I can dig up a few gems from your back catalogue. City may be on the verge of buying one of your ex (flops) players for a similar amount that you paid for Torres. |

This whole mess only started to blow up exponentially once Eva posted that FB message. It was stupid of Mourinho to chastise our medical team in public, but if you're an employee of a large organisation the last thing you should ever do is post about the incident on social media. No matter how honest her intentions were, she must have known it would have incited a reaction from the press. The moment that message was posted, she indirectly made it all about her (and this is supported by the fact that most articles are talking about Eva Carneiro and not Jon Fearn, our physio).
And yes, I'm well aware that this whole situation could have been avoided had Jose kept his big mouth shut, but that FB message really didn't help matters either. |

Kenedy has been given a work permit and can now play in England.
He'll be loaned to Vitesse anyway, no doubt...... |

Watching the game again and still not sure if Brana is on the wane or just in poor form. It was not helped by Cahill having a bad game as well. Big fan of both players and since we only in week one think we can give them more time to get match fit but it might be something we have to keep a eye on. Will say both players worried me at times towards the end of last season.
Knew Begovic was a decent keeper but was very impressed with him, Would not be worried by him at all on the strength on what we have seen so far, Yes he no Cech but who is? Having a Cech on the bench is a dream that could never have lasted for longer then a season but having Begovic as a number 2 is a truly fantastic place to be in. While you can say it was only Swansea but a couple of their attacking players impressed me so the fact he kept them at bay bodes well for us Was impressed with Oscar, For me he looked slightly more fit then the other players (not that difficult have to say). Willian also didn't have a bad game (but maybe that's because he runs around loads) Still think we are not going to learn much about where this team is until maybe the Arsenal Newcastle games. |

Loaning players to Vitesse really is an utter waste of time. We don't learn anything particularly useful from them playing in that league, such is the standard of it. If he's going out on loan I'd sooner it was to a Championship club.
They have 5 of our players already. Still room for one more, but if Kenedy is as good as I've heard then he really needs something better. |

In football, this story has been what should have been the real headline all week.

Unless DDG is injured, and the direct quotes from the two involved are lies, then its all true. Quite unlike some of the headlines and "quotes" lifted from "sources" that are really lifted from a chelsea fan forum - just like this. Its the equivalent to Batdude having a quote on the front page of tomorrows red tops! |

Both parties have spoken to the media directly, and of course DDG did not play against Spurs and will not play today against villa.

However its good to see any negative Chelsea stories are mischief making ABCs in the media, whereas as anything anti-any other club you portray as a cutting edge journalistic masterpiece. |
