We just need to cut out waste and stop blowing 60 million on the likes of Willian and Cuadrado.
We should also remember we have the 'London Factor' in our favour.”

But you can never ever win them all in the transfer market.
Look at Spurs and Liverpool last season. Spunked load a money on half a team and most was wasted.
It ain't possible to be right all the time mate.

Have no fear, Tip Top is here. Stones and Pogba on the way, and Oscar and Willian / Cuadrado to go the other way. Come on the Chels'!

We have the money and could spend around £130m (according to a source who is always pretty well informed of our finances) without selling or contravening the FFP rules. I think we are just taking a more responsible attitude to our spending, and there's probably the rebuilding of the stadium to take into consideration ?”

Stadium costs are exempt from FFP, and if Roman can afford a £1.5 billion yacht, he can afford to shell out for a new stadium. Considering he doesn't own the pitch however, that must hurt.

As I've said, the pitch owners should give Roman their share when he pays for a new stadium.

Have you looked into if that is actually possible legally?

If not what do you suggest everyone just ignores the law?

They own shares in the pitch, they could easily give them to him or sell then for a nominal fee.

It I owned a share, I would happily give it to Roman. Who in their right mind wouldn't?

Nobody.

That's not the point.

You might wish to give it to Roman but legally that might not be allowed to happen.

This is not a what you want to do issue it's a what is permitted issue.

We've officially signed Kenedy.

That must be at least 8 times now.

Yes, his work permit has been sorted and he now has a squad number. I was impressed with his pre-season debut against Barcelona, even if it was a fairly meaningless game.
He certainly didn't seem to lack confidence, pacy and strong, not afraid to take opponents on, etc. Looked more advanced than RLC or Traore to be honest.

Just as well you're not the manager then.

"Players are different and Willian does things Pedro doesn't."
One of the biggest lies of the market is when I read that we want to sell Willian, or that other clubs want him. Maybe they do, but they won't get him."

-Jose Mourinho; source: Chelsea FC

Oscar and Willian ain't going anywhere.

Told you he'd be straight in the starting line-up

Much better going forward with pedro having quality and pace on the right.

I hope cuadrado is watching this!!!

Willian should be replaced by Oscar or push cesc forward at 60 minutes

If he doesn't do anything else all game, Pedro is motm. Brilliant. A stuttery start again from Chelsea, and there are still problems at the back, but going forward, much better and largely because of Pedro.

All criticism against William is still justified. Missed a sitter, won't take people on the way Callum Mcmanaman has been prepared to do all match, and for £30 million, not nearly good enough. Another full back would be better in that position.
