Fantastic debut by Pedro, looks dangerous every time he's on the ball.
Oscar is injured, and apart from the wasted chances I think Willian has been ok. It was his pace breaking foward the set up the second goal, and he's won the ball back for us several times in midfield. You don't get that from Fabregas.
Matic still doesn't look his old self though, in fact the whole defence still looks vulnerable.

Terry sent off, looked a bit soft. Glad we've got a 2 goal lead to protect.

EDIT: Damn it, just a one goal lead now!

Clattenburg strikes again, what a surprise.

The next 30 minutes are going to suck.

That was never a penalty.

If west brom score again the press will have a field day

I think Fabregas should have been the one to come off. Down to ten men he becomes a bit of a luxury. We may need Mikel now to add a bit more bite in midfield.

In every game now, Ivanovic is being exposed by quick, tricky wingers. He's being targeted as a weak point in the side. As a regular, I think it's over for him. Maybe cover for CB.

Not Falcao!

Phew! Made that a lot harder than it should have been. I thought the red card was really harsh, very little contact if you ask me(ofcourse slightly biased). Good chance of an appeal?

Pedro looked brilliant, exactly what our team needs, someone with a bit of speed, trickery and skill to spice up the attack which has looked very flat recenty.

Good entertaining game of football but Willian and Costa missed some decent chances, you feel if it wasnt for the red we could have won by 4 or 5 goals.

A good win, looked great going forward. Pedro is be real deal.

It's a shame we went to ten men, but three huge points for us.

All about the win and 3 points.
Pedro looked great. Falcao not so much.
Got to be a bit more decisive in front of goal. Too many chances squandered.

Yep. No denying the opposition are targeting him now, and he's not doing anything to prove them wrong.
Can't see the boss having both Zouma and Rahman in the same defence just yet though, so Bran will still be in the team until Terry is back

At least we have more options now. Should zouma play every game?

Is pedro going to be a starter?

Cuadrado needs to go

Yes, that was an important win for all sorts of reasons. We looked good going foward in the first half and could have had 5 or 6.
Still problems at the back though. Terry might have been unlucky to get a straight red, but how much of that was to do with his poor positioning in the first place ? Let's face it, West Brom are a fairly average side, but they still managed to cause us problems before we went down to 10 men.

Anyway, let's hope Everton can do us a favour this afternoon. It will be interesting to see how Stones copes with Aguero etc.

I would definitely think about moving Dave over and bring in the new left back.
Ivanovic looks all out of sorts.

Fantastic debut by Pedro - to think we've gone through Schurrle, Salah and Cuadrado! He's everything we've been waiting for in a RW; clever movement, intelligent decision making and a goal scorer!

Schurle and Salah had real potential, I would take any if them over cuadrado

Curious to see who will take the other AM slot now that we have a proper RW - runbot Willian, or Oscar.

Still think we'd be better off with Oscar alongside Matic, then it would be a choice of the runbot or Cesc for AM.
