Exactly. How on earth can you compare playing against Walsall.

I admit the likes of RLC had decent games but if you transfer those performances into a premiership level games then they were actually okish at very best. They would not have as much time on the ball, They would would have been punished by even the smallest of mistakes. They would have been tackled stronger and to a much higher level.

The games they played was a step in the right direction and if picked for another cup game (if you look our next two cup games Porto and Stoke are a massive step up) they will have to raise their game. Think an away game at Porto might be a step up to far for RLC at the moment (and that's from actually watching him on many many occasions and not from what Fred Blogs has said or because they was born recently or happen to have the word ENGLISH in their passport) but Stoke in the League Cup (totally different from playing Stoke in a league game) would be a massive step in the right direction for him BUT he would need to improve massively from his last game for it mean he is ready for a league game in our current situation (we are talking a hat-trick MOTM setting up 2 goals and some goal saving tackles)

Doon lad, it seems that Jose disagrees with you on that one: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/footb...tars-play-kids

The Sun, The Star AND The Sport all back up the facts.

We are still waiting the actual evidence.

Not what someone told you. But actual evidence

We wont know if Jose agrees with me or not until we see the team sheet.

But my view and Jose's might differ but both are based on what we have seen where your views are based on what someone told someone who told someone who printed in a comic

Evidence is evidence. The 'kids' are alright! Don't say I didn't tell you..

When we are in a position of not being able to win anything.

"But if the season goes in one direction that it becomes closed, and we can't win, I will go just with the kids".

As I have said. The kids are not good enough to play while we are still in with a chance of winning a trophy.

The kids are not good enough to win anything as I have said before.

They are still in the middle of their education.

It was widely reported on spoken about in the papers, and the radio and tv.

Football might be a passion for you, but, for the media, it's not only a passion but also their job. They are paid to know a lot more about what goes on behind the scenes than you or anyone else on here knows about.

So you have no actual evidence apart from hearsay from people who are paid to fill empty space?

No, i wouldn't bite your hand off for a top four place every season. That would be doing an Arsenal.
I would take it for a couple of years, but i would not be happy to see us stagnate and settle for just a top four place year after year. If it meant us taking a step back dropping out of the top four and a few years later start making steps forward again, then i would be prepared to put up with a few bad years.

The only evidence you would accept would be a Chairman going on TV and saying they were not interested in Jose.

Like it or not, Jose is not well liked anywhere but Chelsea.
Even today, the talk from Portugal is that he is not fondly remembered at Porto. Even Villas Boas is well thought of there, but not Jose.

Mourinho may say that, but the evidence suggests different.
When dropping "untouchables" he still seems to prefer to use Mikel and Ramires in front of RLC or Kenedy doesn't he ?
I would expect Willian and Ramires to start, Jose was vindicated in his decision to bring them on against Newcastle. There's a chance Baba Rahman might start, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sticks with Ivanovic. I don't think we'll see any "kids" against Porto, it's going to be a tough game.

Eh ? Where did you get that from ? This isn't the first time Jose has been back, and he's always had a terrific reception at Porto. He may not so popular everywhere in Portugal but at Porto he's idolised.

Well yes, that would be actual evidence

Again you have no evidence to back up your views.

I could say I was told by some local reporter they actually worship him and they prey to his pictures every day and slaughter a goat once a week to praise him.

But that would not make it any more or less true.

Jose sells papers and attracts viewers. They don't actually have to do any work because all they need to say is "a club source says" or "a source close to the club says" to cover themselves.

Jose is the pantomime villain any good film/tv series needs as that's how the press spoon-feed their dribble to the masses.

I have actually spoken to reporters who have said at times they have been told by their editors that putting in a article that paints a certain club or certain people (am not talking about just Chelsea and/or Jose) in a positive light is a waste of time as that is not the narrative they are following at the moment.

I was getting ready to leave for work so i didn't get to hear the story or which paper it's in. Just checked pressreader.com and saw this... No love for brooding Jose at the club his legend was born.

So now you are getting your "facts" from just a headline?

Where next? Christmas Crackers?

The radio presenters were going to discuss what's in the sports pages this morning and one of the jornos who was on the show had written a piece about this for his paper.
Maybe you also think all the stuff about Madrid fans wanting to see the back of him was also a load of made up BS?

Considering that Madrid make our club look stable in relation to keeping mangers their views are totally irrelevant more so when your statement was about Porto.

Yes, Hazard and Matic on the bench. Didn't expect that.

I hope Willian can start playing like he was towards the end of last season. Someone in this squad needs to make that #10 role their own.

Part point proving and part putting the league first and sorting our league form out I think

Give it a rest mate, it's becoming tedious and frankly ridiculous.

He won the treble for Inter, you really think they don't like him there.
He won two European trophies at Porto, you think the same ?

We get it, you don't like Jose but don't make daft comments that clearly aren't correct.

What on earth did you do before Talkspot existed ?

Maybe even looking at last season when the players run out of steam.
