It's not looking good. Even an off-form Matic would improve things in midfield. Falcao gives us nothing, bring on Remy. They could have had a couple of penalties. Why does Ivanovic have to go grabbing at a players shirt like that, it wasn't even very subtle, he was lucky to get away with it. Willian and Dave are playing well though.

It's getting embarrassing for Ivanovic now, get the poor guy off.

I can't believe we're at the stage where I am pissed to see Wilian go off.

Dreadful defending. Pedro on for Willian now. I give up.

Has Fabragas got some kind of clause in his contract that he can't be substituted ? He's given us nothing in this game so far.

I don't think Mourinho will be here for the next match.

Now Matic off. I'm honestly beginning to wonder if Mourinho had lost his mind.

I don't think it worthwhile to sack him, but he has definitely lost the plot in the pressure.
Scratchy.

Terry has answered my question from the other day - I don't think even he will come back from this.

Something isn't right. This Chelsea side looks lost.

I'm starting to think the unnecessary fight with the physio was just the catalyst for all this. You had that saga, mourinho now saying there are rats leaking info from inside and performances from players which are well below the required standard.

Looks like he has lost the dressing room. :/

I would have thought that would be unthinkable. It's Jose and it's Chelsea. He doesn't forget how to manage players overnight. What would trigger it?

Think some players should hand over wages to deserving causes.

A very interesting question!

Didn't the same happen at Madrid. I tend to think the way he manages players seems to be instant and short term but then players for whatever reason lose faith.

There could be some kind of split in the dressing room, it happens. Matic must be seething, a substitute being substituted is considered an insult. Was Willian injured ? If not he can't be happy being taken off, he was arguably our best player in the first half.
Mourinho clearly has his favourites and perhaps some players are beginning to resent this ?

Wasn't there worrying signs in pre season? I know it was friendlies but some journalists were saying how bad and uncharacteristic players were. One even said victor Moses was head and shoulders above everyone else in pre season.

I don't see how the whole incident with the physio couldn't upset some players. There must be some who think she was very harshly treated and not happy with how that whole saga played out.

Just watched Jose interview. Very very defensive from Jose. Was very surprised he talked about the possibility of the sack when the interviewer never even brought it up.

He clearly feels his under pressure. I thought his comments about sacking him sending a message interesting. Managers before Jose could argue they were unfairly sacked.

This slump started last season - we stopped performing but were still picking up points. After the clusterf**k of the summer transfer window, other teams have improved significantly while we ignored our problems and are now performing worse without getting away with it. (Terry and Hazard aren't bailing us out this time)

Hope I'm wrong, but I'd be amazed if Jose is still here this time tomorrow.

I do wonder why the Chelsea squad isn't stronger. For me the side picks itself and your right the players did drop intensity in the 2nd half of last season. Was there enough quality brought in to freshen things up and keep players on there toes?
