Falcao ruled out for a few weeks.

If they hadn't mentioned it would we have noticed?
Nope. We may as well have signed the invisible man for all the good he is these days.

Anyone who has said they would rather lose than win under Jose should be demoted to the reserves, instantly transfer listed and sold in January. Simple as that. Yes that includes Fabregas or Hazard or whoever it was.

World class? Don't see how any player can be considered world class if they are unprofessional and chuck their toys out.

Not one of the players is world class. We have a number of players who could be world class within the next couple of season if they get their heads down but at the moment they are just a bunch of quite talentend players who have an awful lot to learn
To be fair, his definition of "world class players " include the likes of Kane, Sterling and Lallana. Not sure what Messi and Ronaldo would be called though.
World class is a lazy term and banded around far too easily.

Just goes to show what a load of bollocks the media come out with. They guessed wrong before, so now they're having another try.

Don't understand the ott reaction against players re' not giving 100%. It's happened before at other clubs, when players don't trust the manager, and several times at Chelsea. It didn't happen with Ranieri, and he just wasn't quite winning things, although it did happen with Scolari and the players form dropped dramatically, they were interviewed by the owner, and Scolari was sacked. Where were the calls then for players to be sacked? Crazy.

It also happened with Ancelotti after Wilkins was sacked and with AVB and Di Matteo. Collectively and individually, players were not playing for the manager, and the manager went. Why should it be any different with Mourhino?

If he had called for reinforcements in the summer, not backed the signing of Falcao, utilised the squad better, dropped Ivanovic when he should have done, etc, etc, then he wouldn't be getting the criticism he's getting now. He brings fines, bans and criticism on himself by his ridiculous comments and antics, and all of that damages the club and damages football. He should be treated no different than anyone else.

The Chelsea players aren't 'world class'?! but they play for their national teams and last year Chelsea had several players in the PL best XI. Crazy. The players do not trust the manager, and rightly so, plain and simple. At least be honest.

Its the old English media's best trick (as some people keep falling for it). If wrong they just keep repeating the same story until they are right.

"damages football" almost as ridiculous as this "anti-football nonsense".

Very unfair to say the players stopped playing for Carlo (also complete and utter nonsense) He just made a couple of mistakes during the season that cost us a couple of points here and made them too often that meant we was not as close to winning the title as we should have. As for saying the players did not try for Claudio well sorry but that is complete and utter nonsense on the grandest level.

Anyone attending just the home games could see the players was playing to the very best they could at the time the problem was he was not the man to get them to play past their very best.

Robbie was just not good enough at the end of the day. Did "the job" short term but was never ever going to work long term he should have gone after Munich but I think Roman made the mistake of listening to people (never a good idea)

Big Phil great manager but did not understand the league he was playing in. He just did not get the game over here. Great C.V but a appointment that smacked of someone in the office seeing a fantastic C.V and not bothering to interview him before giving him the job.

Yes the players are all top class players, Great players, Fantastic players blah blah blah. But as the media reporting of the game has been dumbed down so have things like "world class". World class players are in a league of their own.

They are winners no matter what team they play in, No matter who the manager is, No matter if they "trust in the manager" (what does that mean anyway? They think he will nick things from their locker?) No matter what formation they are playing in, No matter if they are played in their natural positions or played in a totally different one. No matter if they play in a "attacking game" or if they are told not to leave their side of the pitch. According to the "media" a certain player at Real did not like Jose guess what? He performed, According to the "media" the same player is not liking the current manager and guess what? He is still performing. That's world class. Its not being voted in meaningless "teams of the league" etc. Its not being picked for international teams. Its performing at a higher level then everyone else in the world week in week out, Season after season, Game after game, Trophy after trophy. That is world class. Which Chelsea player has done that?

That doesn't necessarily mean they're World class, all that equates to is being international class which is a different thing.

The game's free-to-air on BT Sport Showcase (ch. 59 on freeview) for anyone who didn't know.

Well, impressed with the team selection for tonight. Variety, rotation, etc. That's what's needed imo. Hopefully the team are compact and fully committed. Let's see..

When it comes to Hazard, he's played practically every game over the last 3 years, and he needs resting imo. It's sad that it has taken this long to do that, and the warning signs have been there for a while. Off the bench, he can make a big difference.

2 - 1, but it wasn't convincing. Not enough bodies in the box when attacking, and Costa isn't there most of the time. Thought Rahman and the defence did better. Matic still not back to his best though.

Still shaky

Willian scoring one and forcing an OG. By far our best player this season.

Costa is getting worse by the match. Drifts out wide when he's needed in the center, takes too many touches, passes up a shooting chance to try and win a penalty. Dreadful.

A wins a win, who cares if it was not convincing. It's all that was needed.
Great support for Jose from the real fans.

Remy should get a chance again. Costa is looking a bit Torres like at the moment.
