They do have alot more choice then us.
I often get messages from a Chelsea fan in Canada telling me about the choice of games they have (and when its Chelsea game and I am not there or not on TV telling me whats happening), When he lived over here he was surprised at the "lack" of choice we had |

I agree, it would be great. I'd pay a hefty premium to watch any game live. I'm not sure how it could be arranged though.
People seem to get it illegally, so why do the broadcasters not take advantage of the market and allow people to access their content legally and in quality HD? The money would be put back into the game, and customers would be satisfied. |

We're friends with two Utd fans we met when we were in Washington and they get every single Utd game live. Like you say they were shocked that we don't get 3pm games.
Personally I rather admit to a STD ha ha |

So, if we have really made the last of our signings in this summer transfer window (as Mourinho has repeated again) how much stronger are we ?
New keeper in Courtois, but we may lose Cech. Not a great immediate difference there. Luis gives us more depth in the back four, Azpil could switch to the right allowing Ivanovic to cover either CB. Zouma not quite ready, but stiil gives us capable extra cove. Again not a huge difference to keeping Ashley for another season in my opinion. In defensive midfield we have Matic starting for a full season, that will make a massive difference. But we haven't any real cover for the big guy, that's a worry. I'm not sure Fabregas fits the role as the other DM player in a 4-2-3-1 either, not against the stronger teams. I'm not saying we should have broke the bank for Pogba, but Khedira would have solved that problem. Attacking midfield, no problem there. Fabregas will give us more creativity, and we have plenty of other options. Up front we have put all our eggs in one basket. That's a massive gamble, if Costa doesn't work out, or gets injured, we will arguably be in a worse position than last season. So what do others think ? I think we could have done more without a great outlay. But it would have required getting rid of more players that I think are surplus to our requirements. I think we are stronger than lthis time last year, the arrival of Matic had already assured that. If Costa produces the goods (and stays fit !) it should make a huge difference, and a player of the quality of Fabregas is an exciting addition. |

I think Fabregas is going to be a huge signing for us. Although a bit odd at first seeing him in a blue shirt I reckon he could make the difference.
Has a point to prove with Barcelona & Arsenal not wanting him. |

Think it's more balanced then it has been for quite a while, we have done the clearing out that's needed to be done for ages and got premium prices for those players.
We have made some very sensible buys and not really paid over the odds for anyone (which makes a chance). While yes of course we could have bought more players but we don't really have the space for anymore players January window might offer us some chance to make changes if needed and once again between the end of the season and start of the new we will make some more changes. Last season I don't think we had a real chance of challenging for the title and I really don't think we ever did but this season I think we have a really good chance of being in the hunt right until the last day |

I said this a while ago, but the front 3 are a real worry! Where are the goals going to come from if Costa doesn't do the business or gets injured? Also, still one creative player short in midfield. At least it looks like woeful Willian and past-it Ramires will be playing less. which can only be a good thing imho. |

Looks ok in attacking midfield to me, enough creative players with Fabregas, Oscar and Hazard ? Schurrle will be feeling on top of the world after Germany's win, let's hope it's not had the opposite effect on Oscar and Willian. Injuries to Costa and/or Matic worry me most, down to bare bones in those positions. |

Drooling at the prospect of Fabregas and Costa working well together though

Was always going to be the most likely player to go out on loan.
Means we meet the quota so think thats it for us Still need to offload Marin as he would upset our quota if we had to have him back. Hopefully a sale (and not another loan) is imminent. |

Fabregas counts as home grown, and van Ginkel doesn't count as he isn't over the age of 21, right?

Where are Marin and Moses?? Don't think they've been seen in pre-season.

Liverpool may get Falcao on loan?
Perhaps we should hijack this. |

Perhaps we should hijack this. Loan then buy next season then I think the transfer amount would be a issue. more so for what could be a second choice striker |
