Roman giving Emenolo his P45 would be a good starting point.
For a club with our ambitions and our current level his CV seems very weak and his job performance (from the outside perspective) seems patchy at best but saying would anyone with a better CV do the job when really at the end of the day there seems to be very little actual way of measuring success or not other then Roman's thoughts on the matter? Very hard to attract a high level candidate when there are really no set objectives. Is it better to have a decent person in the role who accepts those conditions or have one of the very best but who cannot do a job due to the way the company is run? Its why we need someone from outside to come in and look at everything. I thought we missed a trick when we had Peter Kenyoun around, Not his biggest fan but he knew what needed to be done to run a big club. |

Words of wisdom from Hiddink, AND vindication for some of the unnecessary criticism received on this thread. I was ridiculed for suggesting that The Sun, The Star and the Mirror were reliable sources.
Watch the interview: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35167272 Hiddink clearly states that the players meed to look in the.. MIRROR! Thank you Gus! Support at last

Speaking of Ake, what are the thoughts on him at the moment? Progressing enough to play more of a part for us next season, or more likely to be out on loan again?
Other than a few highlights here and there, the only time I've really watched Watford this season was when they played Bournemouth a couple of months back, so not really kept a close eye on how he's been playing. It's good to see that he's getting regular games though and in a team that is doing well. |

I think he will play for us but it will depend on him and his attitude.
If he continues his current form into next season I can see him being on the fringes of the first team then slowly moving into the first team. Its not a race, Its a slow process to get into the first team of a top premiership team. Long term thinking will bring the bigger rewards. |

No different from the last few weeks.
At some points we have actually looked to have gone backwards to where we was towards the start of the season. But still very much in the game |

Not seeing much difference at the moment. Could do with a bit of luck going our way.
Still far too close to the drop zones and two tricky away games coming up. |

From a defensive point of view probably slightly backwards this week. Some nice stuff in patches as has been the norm these past few weeks but nothing that said the change of management has made the slightest difference.
Guss has a much tougher job on his hands this time. Last time he had a bunch of intelligent professional players unlike this time. Still a massive amount of work to be done and not a long time to do it in |

Chelsea 2 - Watford 2
Overall, the team looks more compact, together and playing for each other and the manager. Not enough defensive work from Fabregas, Mikel looked sharper and Costa looks a different player with a different attitude. Still gaping holes at right back, and it's not because of bad attitude by Ivanovic. He just does not have the pace. I would bring Zouma back in for now. There's enough defensive threat from the forwards without the need for Ivanovic overlapping constantly. Still not enough players taking the chance and getting into the six yard box and not enough direct shots on goal. Watford got their second goal and looked dangerous with their direct, attacking play. We need a Lampard like player, a player who will make those runs into the danger areas, and shoot on goal more. Hazard made a big difference when he came on and should have taken the penalty. That would have been a much needed win. |

Not sure a career in match reporting is in the pipe works although saying that with only the scoreline and players names the only things correct maybe The Sun will come calling

Still only two points above the drop zone, with away games against a wounded United and resurgent Palace coming up. On top of that we'll be missing Costa, who did look more dangerous today. It's not getting any easier.

Hazard missed his last 3 penalties, and hasn't scored all season - it's a no brainer why he didn't take it.
