FINALLY.

Another dreadful performance from Matic. He's never coming back.

Terrible performance, and very poor management.

It wasn't a loss, but overall too cautious. Crying out for a change at half time, or at the latest 20 minutes in. Hazard made an immediate impact when he came on, and is in a different league to everyone else.

A game changer at the highest level, and irreplaceable. Just needed him on earlier and the game would probably have been won. Costa played very well, but just too much caution in the selection, and a win was needed.

Yep, it was dire. They're never going to get into the top half of the table at this rate.

Need to stop this Hazzard nonsense. Very good player but lacks the most important abilities to cut it in these sort of games,in the situation we are in and at the level of the current team.

Would have come on and scored a hat trick in Spain but in The Premiership? Not a chance.

Could make a decent highlight you tube video out of what he will do but lacks the most important part a end result

How many players do you think will leave in summer if Chelsea dont make the Top four

A few to generate funds for the new manager. They will only go if Chelsea want them to as most are on long lucrative contracts.
I would say Hazard for sure and maybe Costa.

There's no 'if' about it, Chelsea won't make the top 4.

As for how many players will leave, probably not enough of them.

Hazard is the least of our problems. He's been struggling for goals this season but he is by far the best player in our squad.

Yep he is but is not going to come on and win games for us at the moment.

Partly because of the way we are playing and partly because of his own issues.

If he doesn't start I don't see the point of bringing him on at the moment more so when we was in the situation that we was in.

Yes we might have needed a similar type of player as him but he was never going to be the answer to the issues tonight

Well he might have been if he'd come on sooner than the 72nd minute. Who would you have brought on then, as it was clear something needed changing?

Might have but I very much doubt it.

I just don't think his mindset at the moment is the one needed to play that role.

Apart from Baba (and maybe Cahill but even him I think could do something that has more of end result at the moment) any of the other players would just have likely bought a change to the game.

For me either he starts at the moment or he comes on when we are in front or at least on the front foot.

I honestly at the moment can not see him producing something with a end result from the bench.

Gomes saved us but you did seem slow and not willing to take a shot on at times.

The incident on half time fired you up more I felt..

He did set up that chance for Ivanovic though. It may not be guaranteed that starting Hazard would have won us the game, but his qualities as a player certainly would have increased our chances. It's painful to say that he is the only AM I trust to make the right decisions (consistently) in the final third.

That's why I said we should be starting him.

I think at the moment even not playing to anywhere near his abilities he is more effective to us that way then coming on when we need "something".

At the moment he is not at a place where he can come on and change results. He should be able to in a ideal world and in any of his previous seasons he more then likely would have come on and won us the game but at the moment he is lacking that little bit extra to do that.

For me he should have played the entire FA Cup game and started last night, The only way he is going to get back to anywhere near his normal standard is playing 90 mins. Yes we have a big game coming up at the weekend but this month is full of big games.

There's no bigger admirer of JT than me!
He was awesome last season and imho is by some distance still our best central defender. Just saying he's now finally starting to slip as everyone does eventually.

And you think Mangala of City is a better defender

I hope not, but we might already have seen the best of Hazard. He could turn in to another Ballotelli if he's not careful

Question for you.
Come the Leicester game, and there's nothing in it for us and a win for them would virtually win the title for them.
Would you, like me, be rooting for Claudio and Leicester that day?

There are just to many factors to consider at the moment.

It mainly depends on him and what he wants to do.

He can IMO in a few years become one of best players in the world (if not the best) doing so in this league will be very hard the league is not going to get any more easy over the next couple of years. If he goes to Spain (and I would not blame him for a second) its still going to be tough but its becomes that slightly more easy to get to that level.

He is still learning and will be for another couple of years yet.

Personally for me I think it would be more rewarding career-wise to do it in England more so with the chances coming into the league over the next few years but that's very easy for me to say, He has to make the decision. I have a feeling he won't stay

Only if it means we miss out on the waste of time that is the UEFA Cup.

Do i care who wins the title if its not Chelsea? Nope.

Two seasons ago was a fantastic day stopping Liverpool win the league. I trust you were happy as well.
If it's meaningless for us then I would hope Lecicester win the league though it's not for Claudio, more stopping any of the other teams.
