Everyone cannot be a starter or a player you bring on. Could we do better? Yep unless we have a player who is truly world class and there are only a small number of them then we will always be able to get a better player in, Can we do worse? 100% yes.
This season he has had a different job then any of his previous seasons. Guss has used him to plug the massive hole that was the start of the season. Not saying for a second he as been the reason for the tiny improvement we have seen but he has come in and been a part of that and that is what he was asked to do. He has not been asked to do anything to do with being fast or do any of the things that people have accused him of not doing
