Cesc caused quite a stir on Monday Night Football last night.

Said the whole team let Mourinho down and that he is still in contact with him. Interesting, the press called for JMs head week in week out, and now they are reporting that it's the players' fault. I would think it's probably somewhere in the middle, a bit of both.

Cesc was also asked if he thinks there will still be a twist in the PL race. He said 'I hope not, I don't want Spurs winning it' Spurs fans on twitter went into meltdown, accusing him of going to 'throw' the last game of the season.

We don't need to throw games, we really are that bad.

Cesc gets it, as does JT. Cesc played for Arsenal for a long time and remembers the feeling of those derbys, he now plays for a club who also detest Spurs and the feeling is mutual. At least we have 2 players that will give it a go for the fans.

If it goes to the last game of the season Spur's fans will blame us regardless of how we play. They are very good at blaming anyone but themselves. Hopefully someone will film their faces more so if its a injury time winner for Leicester at the bridge that wins them the title. I think all "fan tv" channels should be banned as they are all on the main embarrassing but if I was an Arsenal fan I would doublely embarrassed. Ours is not the best but at least we have some eye candy, They get Claude arguing with everyone

I think all us Football fans go all conspiracy theory, Although a certain ref during a Chelsea match in the Champions League a few years ago now that was not a theory but a fact ha ha

I wasn't expecting Leicester fans to be going down that route yet. At least wait until you've won something and everyone hates you.

So, inevitable rumours that PSG have approached Jose.

Not surprised, Blanc hasn't got past the quarter finals in the CL (4 times) and PSG want that trophy badly, with all the money they have spent.

Whilst I still think JM will go to Utd and he has made no secret he prefers a competitive league........he has also made no secret that he wants to win the League all over Europe, so the lure of adding Ligue 1 to his belt and possibly the CL there may be too great.

Then whoever gets the boot out of the Utd job in a couple of seasons, he could go then and hopefully inherit a much better squad than they have now.

Just a few thoughts anyway.

Would be a sensible move, For all the talk of how poor the French league is it would be a mistake to ignore how big PSG could become in a few years with the right investment etc. Getting Jose would be a massive step for the brand and club. I can't see it myself. Apart from the Champions League, where's the challenge ? You could probably take PSG to the French title every year. Unless Jose wants to relax and put his feet up for a couple of years he'd be bored stiff.

I think the main challenge would be the Champions League. While they have done ok in that recently as we know winning it even with great players is a tough ask. They of course going to win it sooner or later with the investment available but while it might take them 3/4 years at moment Jose would want to come in and win it within 1 or 2. That would be where he would be finding his challenge, Then move on to the next club. Another League title and another Champions League trophy in his pocket, If Utd dont come calling I don't really see where else he would go if the timetable for a new club is this summer

Plus his family could still stay in England which is something he has mentioned in the past and he could home quite often

I haven't really been keeping up, I thought it was pretty nailed-on that he would be going to United ? Who will Man Utd go for if it's not Mourinho, they can't be contemplating keeping Van Gaal surely ?

I pretty sure it as well BUT anything can happen in football and until the contract is signed PSG would be a very good back up plan.

There are those who dislike Jose (as we know here) and I dare say there are a few people involved in the decision process at Utd who do not want him at Utd (some might for example be pushing for Giggs). Utd are by far the 1st choice and where I would put my money BUT PSG while are a distant second choice I don't see anyone being anywhere near them

To be honest, I think that's a bit rich coming from Fabregas. He only appears to give 100% when he's in the mood. Unless of course he was also putting his own hand up and taking some of the blame ?
It's certainly been a crazy season. It's hard to believe that it's still only 16 months ago that Paddy Power were paying out on bets for us to win the PL title, with only half the season gone. I'd love to know what the hell happened, but I suppose we'll have to wait for someone's memoirs..even then it's doubtful we'll get the whole truth.

He was taking part of the blame, he said all of them had let him down. He said JM had trusted the players too much.

I think its against the trade discrimination act to call many of the people employed to report on football journalists, They would have no idea how to investigate and compile a real genuine news story if they could not use the words inside source or a club insider if their life depended on it

I can't recall anyone saying Jose would ruin Stones.
In fact it would be very stupid for a journo to say Jose would ruin a defender.
What Stones needs is someone to drum some disciplin into his game. Teach him when to just get rid of the bakl and when to try and play it out. Jose would be perfect for Stones.
Jose has a problem with your Robben's, Mata's and Joe Cole's, not defenders.

Stone's issues are far deeper than just knowing when to play and when to not.

I follow a lot of football journos on twitter and at the time, most were all saying he needed to stay at Everton, that his development would go backwards if he went to Chelsea. Of course, I agree with you about JM and defenders but most journos are all knee jerk, we were big bad Chelsea, waving our wads of cash around, trying to buy an up and coming young English player who we were, of course, going to ruin. He needed to stay at saintly Everton with saintly Martinez.

I see it all the time, Mata scored for a couple of games on the trot, big headlines, JM should never have sold him. Then when its clear to see he's been a poor buy, you don't read any stories saying he was right to sell him.
