Don't think Spurs will win the title now but if we are the ones who ensure it then I will be very happy. How we get the result is utterly irrelevant just as long as we get one.
Would be one bright spot in a season with very few. |

Yep, bright spots have been very few and far between. A JT goal to do the job would be even better.
I think I would be laughing all the way from the match if that happened |

I hope we can do spurs over too, Leiscter deserve it this year, they have been fantastic. Id be gutted for them if they fall at the last hurdle. Its definitely possible as they have us and Everton which will not be easy games.

Its going to require us to play the best we have played all season by a massive margin. I think Spurs let the occasion get to to them last week and I don't expect them to do the same this week.

I'm going for a 2-1 win for Chelsea.

We have got it together at times, but not very often and rarely for 90 minutes. But I think nerves could get to Spurs. They have to win. We can relax, keep it tight and wait for them to make mistakes. Then there's our players, some will be keen to impress no matter whether they're staying or going in the summer.
I'm going for a 2-1 win for Chelsea. ![]() I agree our players will be up for it etc but just not sure they will be able to put it into practise. I still don't think they will win the league and that is the main thing but it would be nice to be the team to put the final nail in the coffin. Lets hope its another 55 years before we even think about them getting anywhere near the title again |

Chelsea v Tottenham
2/5/16, 20.00
Well we could win the PL tonight, .. for Leicester, and as Dixon pointed out a while back, Claudio substantially built the Chelsea side that won back to back PL's. He and Leicester deserve to win it, and I'm sure most Chelsea and most football fans agree with that. The line up. Don't like Ivanovic keeping his place, and can't understand why the in form Hazard is on the bench. Apart from that, well done Guus Hiddink for getting the ship back afloat again. |

Shocking defending, sums up the story of the season for us really. Giving away simple goals after defensive mistakes.
Dembele should be off, Diego won't forget that one. He'll be looking for a bit of pay-back. |

Chelsea 2 v Tottenham 2
Two words, EDEN HAZARD. That man is a genius, our very own Messi!
Well done Claudio Ranieri and Leicester. The Chelsea fans salute you! Next year, as long as Conte and the board keep Hazard and make two or three key signings, then the title could be back at the bridge. Come on the Chels'! |

Great second half comeback after conceding the sloppy goals in the first half. Hazard was fantastic, back to his incredible best.
Well done to Leicester, an outstanding achievement that we'll probably never see the like of again. |

Yes, they didn't do themselves any favours. They seemed to be more concerned about kicking lumps out of us than winning the game. Lost their heads and any chance of the title...loved it.

Did what we had to do. Not sure which one was better the Liverpool game or this one.
Spurs was disappointing IMO, For a team that needed a win to keep a chance of the title they really lacked the mindset needed. They had the players they had the ability but that will not win you titles, You have to go into every game and for 90 odd minutes play with the right attitude. That has been Leicester strength all season, Don't get me wrong they have had some great players who have played really well but they have answered every question asked of them. The Ref has to take some of the blame he failed to book Walker early in the game which sent a message to the players that they could play in a certain way but on the same hand while of course it was a emotional game but teams who want to win the title need to ignore that and stick to the game plan, Spurs players did not do that. |

I thought the referee very unfair, in tonight's game.
One poor Spurs outfield player wasn't awarded a yellow card! |

Clattenberg poor, but that's what we've come to expect. I note he's not so keen to pull out the red cards when it's not for one of our players.
Still, good to see us end the Spurs title hopes. Well done Claudio and Leicester! |

I know ref's have a impossible job and players and games like this make a difficult job even more difficult but there has to be a bench mark and tonight's performance fell well below that

Just been browsing the "neutrals" thread. Some very bitter posts about us, mostly from a few United fans - very amusing!

![]() They as a team and club started the baiting of referees and are obviously blind to their club captain but there you go, I guess you don't see the faults in your own players. |
