I highly doubt the club will give him a new contract. It's clearly due to non football reasons he is being let go. When Rafa was giving the job getting rid of JT was part of his remit.

Much like the real story of this season I don't think we will find out everything that has gone on behind closed doors but the stories we know combined with those we don't know is why he is leaving Chelsea.
He is being linked with a mega money move to China. Seems credible after his tour last summer. Real shame he is not going to get a new deal and will not get to play his last game at the Bridge.

Perfectly logical move but I not sure I can see the life style in China suiting him.

U.S.A would prob suit him better but I can also see him moving to another club in Europe. He still prob has another season in him or maybe even two if managed correctly for a decent club

Let's not even joke about that.

I have zero confidence for tomorrow's game. Can easily see us losing our last 2 games.

And if this rumoured walk out on 26 mins for JT goes ahead tomorrow, whilst we are being d**ked at Anfield, it will indeed top off a marvellous season. It's only a rumour so hopefully, the fans that have travelled all that way, won't want to walk back out after only 26 mins.....

They'd be better off singing his name continually if they want to make a point to the Board.

While I would not agree with a "walkout" we do as fans need to do more when it comes to some aspects of the way the club is run. We managed to ensure Rafa did not stay, I am convinced that if we did not react in the way we did he would have stayed and under him we would have been in a even worse place then we are now. I can understand why we don't protest as much as other clubs,

Roman has been fantastic and without him I am not sure where we would be, Getting Champions League meant we had a chance to survive before he came but I think we would have still had serious issues and any protests might come across as attacking him which they would not be but more of an attack on those who he looks to for advice, We as fans need a voice in that process Granovskaia and Buck and Tenenbaum and Emenalo are never going to be able to fill that role

There are some JT banners being taken up to Anfield tonight and that there will be a lot of JT chanting.

I think us as fans just want to know if he is staying or not before the season ends. I find it hard to believe a decision hasn't been made.

I would rather that then a walk out (although after some of our performances this season its prob understandable ha ha).

I think the decision has been made and was made a long time ago and we just have not been told (not the first time communication with the board and the fans has been non existent) . I hope I am wrong and will be very happy if I am.

We have ended the kit sponsorship deal with Adidas six years early.

Has to be one hell of a deal to make it worthwhile has we would have had to pay out some money to end it so early.

I'm not looking foward to the game tonight. We have lots of injuries, Liverpool will be full of confidence, I can see us getting a tanking.
The line-up could be interesting though.

The bench probably more so

Begovic, Baba, Cahill, Mikel, Dave, Matic, Cesc, Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Traore

Subs: Marco Amelia, Fikayo Tomori, Kenedy, RLC, Kasey Palmer, Pato, Tammy Abraham

I,too, fear a hammering.

I don't think we will get anything out of the game but just hope to avoid a hammering

Begovic is going to have his work cut out tonight. A goal against the run of play would be handy, shake them up a bit. Traore has started well.

I just hope this new sponsorship deal involves facemasks, we seemed to have gone though a few this season

I bet that poster that advocated us selling Hazard for £32m is feeling a bit silly again.

Well, that was better than I expected. Apart from the first 10 minutes, we looked fairly comfortable. It was a pity Traore didn't curl that one in to make it 2-0, he appeared to slip over.
Mikel doing quite well at the back, but he's had to cover for Rahman a few times with Matic slotting into the CB position. I've a feeling we will get exposed eventually, but so far, so good.

Not too fussed about the result at this stage of the season. What is pleasing to see is Hazard continuing to get his mojo back.

More happy about Traoue's performance. Eden was always going to get back to last seasons level sooner or later. Traoue with his performances so far this season and more so yesterdays performance proves he is good enough to have a place in the squad. Not as back up to our number one striker of course

I would have bitten your arm off for a draw before the game started, with no JT or Diego. Mikel at CB and Liverpool playing a full strength side.

But was really pissed it ended up a draw! It was understandable that Liverpool would have one eye on the EL final and not want any injuries.

Very pleased with the performance and Eden, my oh my, form is temporary and all that. I know some people are saying he's only trying because the Euros are around the corner but I don't buy that. He's been playing with a slight hip injury most of the season and coupled with all the shit that's been going on behind the scenes, him and most of the rest of the team have vastly underperformed.

He is now injury free, looking forward to the Euros and boy it showed. I have seen a couple of his interviews recently and he looks a different person. A pure joy to watch when he is in form.

Nice to see the JT banner and his name being sung out on 26 mins.

He needs to have someone with him from Chelsea pre & post Euros to keep him away from the cakes!
