Let's not forget this is still early days for Conte. He certainly made the right changes.
Would like to see a game where we start with the two upfront. |

He made the right changes but should have made them sooner. As with the last game he was more reactive than proactive. The subs made a world of difference.

The team needs Fabregas. We need someone in the team other than Hazard who can/will actually create something. And if the idea is that having Kante and Matic together makes us more solid.....no. Sign some defenders.
I will never enjoy Costa playing for us. The guy is just too much of a dick. |

I've missed the Fabregas and Costa partnership; that assist from Fab was unbelievable.

Yes, Oscar and Pedro demonstrated again why they're not good/consistent enough to be relied upon on a regular basis.

Well you probably played better last season when we got 2 draws against you guys than today but fair play - you took the chances.
Conte made good chances whereas we didn't make any really and tried to sit back which is always dangerous against a side like you. |

Exactly, rode our luck, but as I said in the other thread if we can pick up wins however dubious, whilst Conte is still looking for players and adjusting to a new league then i'll settle for that.

I wonder if he was made to look falsely good by playing in that Barca team?

So two games, two unconvincing wins.
Conte has a huge job on his hands. It's quite frustrating as we have fantastic players, they all just need to click. The new boy looks a better player than I was expecting. I think we need to play two up front from the start. |

Pedro played 321 games for Barca, scoring 99 goals, His international record isn't bad either, 17 goals in 56 appearances. Maybe he hasn't adjusted and should never have left Spain, he spent his entire footballing life there ? |

He shouldn't be starting either. Willian is a far better player whatever our Liverpool troll friend may think.

Once again we seem to be trying to copy the Wenger method of transfer's and do something on the cheap.
Do we really think that Milan would accept 30m for a 21 year old player who played 34 times for them who signed a 5 year contract a year ago when they paid 21m? What next will we go back with a bid of £1.00 more? I am all for negotiating during a transfer but lets at least start at a logical bid and not go acting like some big shot talking to some rookie. |

50% + on their investment |

50% + on their investment Foe example I dare say Roma will have a clause where they get a percentage of any future transfer that would have effect on a sensible bid A 21 year old players valuation goes up by more then 9m when they sign a 5 year contract alone no matter if they was bought for 5m or 50m never mind after player has played 34 league games for a club like Milan |
