Sorry to hijack your thread but I am a Southampton fan and was at today's game and I have to say your fans were fantastic.

They contributed to a really great atmosphere without a hint of trouble

Nice to hear. Wasn't at the game today, but I've always found it a good atmosphere at your place when I've been.

The Chelsea team since they lost Liverpool have looked very impressive and are definitely one of the favourites for the title. The only thing that worries me is how the team is heavily dependant on Costa and Hazard because if any one of them gets injured then they will struggle to beat the top teams

Wednesday showed injuries and suspensions could have a massive effect on us so we need to start preparation for them now which is something I think Conte will try to do, We do have a number of players who can come in but of course they need time to get use to the current system, While at the moment Conte has the benefit of being able to work all week with them match time is important so we need to bring players like Willian,JT,Brana,Bat's etc on as sub's at the right time so they can get use to the system hopefully we will be able to do that in some of the upcoming games (Middlesbough,Sunderland,Palace,Bournmouth etc hopefully will give us the chances to do so)

The trouble with him is from what we have seen so far I think he needs someone up front as a partner, It might work but it will need some work before I think he can do a similar job to Costa

Not sure what the point would be.

The current system works so its much better for us to give him the tools to play in our current system, The way to do that would be bringing him as a sub etc and putting the work during training while we have a week between games

Yep, can't see any of the London PL clubs wanting him. Maybe a club like Brighton if they get promoted and want to add a bit more experience? Wouldn't be too far to travel.

We should be having quite the clear-out next year. Brana, JT, Mikel will all be out of contract. Obviously Fabregas will be moved on, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens to Oscar.

In his prime, brana could have got into any london club. But alas i doubt palace would want him. Why would they? Huge wages and a bit of a liability, they would be better off finding someone for the future.

Since when do clubs plan for the future ? If they got one season out of him and they stayed in the league then job done. Would need to play centre back though.

How good do we look? So good to watch. Attacking brilliantly and defending effectively. For now we are top of the league and right in the thick of things when many of us would've been more than happy with just a top 4 battle a couple of months ago.

What a first half ! The best we've played for a couple of years. A pity Costa and Moses didn't finish those two great moves, but you can't have everything. A brilliant team performance.

So many of those Everton players must be fighting the urge to vomit right now. I'm getting dizzy just watching us running rings around them.....

5-0
