Simply awesome performance. Played brilliant all the way through. Hazard's goal for the fourth was amazing. He is truly top class.
Kante has to be one of the signings of the season. He and Matic are bossing the midfield. Conte deserves huge credit for the work he's done. The team have taken to the system and are playing it to a wonderful standard. And it's always awesome to see Conte celebrating. So passionate. He kicks every ball on the pitch. |

Damn, we are so good.
![]() 16 goals scored and 5 clean sheets in a row now. It's amazing to see the turnaround Conte has implemented in such a short space of time. |

Me too! But then I also had steak, chips, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes plus booze with it. What more could you want?

Well after a couple of days reflection, that's got to be one of the best displays at The Bridge. Everton are no mugs. We created so many chances and we gave them none.
John Motson even talked about it being the best PL performance ever. |

John Motson even talked about it being the best PL performance ever. Linekar stated on MOTD that Hazards was perhaps one of the best individual performances in PL history. However even at 5 - nil, it could and should have been more. A few hit the post, Luiz and Moses, Costa should have had a hat trick too. 5-nil should have been 10 nil, for the best PL performance ever. However, i think i enjoyed the man united thrashing the week before, 4-0. The pressure of that game was tremendous, Jose's return needed a HUGE performance from chelsea, and they got it. Thrashed 4-0 and Jose going home with his tail between his legs. |

Yeah, I'm still buzzing after that performance. City and Arsenal dropping points was a nice bonus too. It's just a shame there's another bloody international break, we only just had one last month!

Yes, it was a terrific performance. I'm just as pleased with the defence/midfield, everyone appeared to know their role in the team and played it to perfection. It must have taken a lot of work on the training ground to reach that level of understanding. Everyone seemed to know where a teammate should be at any given time

Yes, the extra time they've been able to spend on the training ground and preparing for matches through not having any European football seems to be really benefiting them. They look fresh and sharp too every time they play now. This is why I was glad we didn't end up in the Europa League spots last season.

I guess the only concern is lack of game time for many of the fringe players though no doubt as the season moves on injuries and suspensions kick in.

It was the only reason i thought we should have taken the West Ham game more serious, Like we did on the weekend should have started strong then bring on the fringe players (If Willian had not been ill I think he would have came on instead of Oscar at weekend) to get them use to this formation.

So how do people think we should handle the January transfer window especially in relation to our defence after these last 5 games? I think I'd be happy if we didn't get anyone especially a marquee signing (but another squad player might not be bad). I do think we are covered though because Zouma is still to come back and I think Ivanovic would do a decent job as one of the back 3 not wingback.

With regards to Zouma we need to look at his fitness very closely. For him to be of benefit to us this season he needs to be fully "match" fit and that is going to be a very difficult level for him to get to with the lack of games (baring injures and suspensions) we will realistically be able to offer him at the moment. Brana of course could do a decent job but he might want to go in the Jan window and if he does want to go then we should let him.
If a "marquee" signing comes available and the price is in keeping with market value I think we should go for it, Yes we playing very well at the moment and players are playing very well but if we can make improvements we should do so, Instead of making loads of signings and trying to integrate them during the Summer window if we can bring a couple in during the Jan one it makes sense to do so |

Tricky one and depends how things go up to January.
A marquee signing is unlikely due to them still being in the CL. We seem to have reasonable cover over the squad. Also, I noticed that Nigeria didn't make the ACN so no loss of Moses. |

If they have already targeted a top quality player who Conte wants, that's great. But not just another "make up the numbers" type of player. Though saying that, Alonso has been a surprise success so far.

With players like Cesc and Oscar being available for Champions League clubs in the next
Window I can see us getting some decent offers coming in and being accepted |
