Playing well so far. I'm quite liking the Matic/Mikel combination, with Mikel playing more like he does does for Nigeria. I'm not saying that would work against top class opposition though !
Diego Costa continues to look out of sorts, might be time to give Remy a chance.

Terrible goal to concede, through a crowd of players.

Costa looks off the pace at the moment, time to give others players, bar drogba, a go.

What's wrong with Drogba? He's done a good job whenever he's been called upon so far.

Thats just it, he has done his backup job really well and has impressed and scored important goals.

I would like to see others like Remy get a go and a game for the team as they will be important in the run in.

Awful reports in the gutter press today.

Torres could return in January! How would that work?

And T-Hazard looking to move permanently, this cannot be allowed to happen.

Costa was looking off the pace and at times a bit disinterested.
Would start Remy on Saturday

Costa definitely slowed down after his great start. Fabregas had the same problem - lucky for us they didn't both go off-form at the same time.

Is Mourino right in not planning to use the January transfer window to buy in new players or trade existing ones? He thinks the current squad is ok as is and can cope with the task of playing in all competitions

Very little value in the January window so unless someone amazing comes available or we lose (which we wont) someone amazing then yes I would not do any business in January. I am more then confident in the players we currently have

If there's one available I wouldn't mind a replacement for Schurrle.

Schwarzer, Zouma, Azpilicueta, Ramires, Schurrle, Remy, Drogba

I agree. It's either got to be a big signing, someone who can walk straight into the team (like Matic did in the last January window) or none at all. We've got enough decent players on the fringes who need games, we don't need any more with "potential" in this window.

A goal in front so far, a win for Leicester and I'll be off out to celebrate.

Yep, sod's law isn't it.

I see they're now talking about keeping him for the rest of the season and not joining up with New York City. Quite a smart move, you have to admi..so much for the FFP rules, there's always ways around them.

Very poor today. Hull even getting on top until they went down to 10.
Lacking any sort of spark

Why? He would not have got in our team nowadays and deserves better treatment from us to be a bench player.

He is one of our greatest ever players (if not the greatest player) good for him continuing his high standards.

If it were for any other team rather than our only rivals, I'd be cheering him

A poor performance from Chelsea but they got the 3 points and deservedly so. It's not nice to single players out but Mikel was particularly poor regularly giving away possession against average opposition, and those mistakes could get punished against better sides.

I can't understand why Ramires is suddenly out of favour, and would have thought his aggression and skill against touch physical sides would be ideal.

Cahill again lucky to stay on the pitch and is drawing attention to himself in the worst possible ways. Against Liverpool it was throwing his body and arms across the ball and now it's diving. His usual rock solid form is again looking shaky, and Chelsea could move Ivanovic across or bring Zouma in.

Other teams are not playing that well and still winning so it's not just Chelsea, but they can't keep playing that way and expect to win trophies.

Didn't see the game yesterday, so can't comment. Were we really that poor ?
Watching United v Liverpool at the moment, it's hard to believe this Man Utd team can be third in the table, still hopeless in defence. Only two teams in the Premiership race, perhaps that's the problem ? You won't need to be great to win it this season, and we have been over-hyped ?
