If we can get together a hard core of 16/17 players that Jose can trust to come in and out of the team, that should take us through to the summer. An injury to Matic would be my biggest worry.
It does look as if the Caudrado deal is almost completed. I have mixed feelings really, certainly an improvement on Salah who never impressed me. But we chased Schurrle for a long time, so presumably thought he had a future with us. Still, Caudrado will be a totally "Mourinho signing"..that always seems to make a difference with any manager.”
As Remy said on the Chelsea website, there were a lot of tired legs after the Liverpool game. Competing in 2 / 3 big competitions, rotation is an absolute must.
I said a few weeks ago, give Zouma a run in the side, and look at his performances, bring Ramires in and he had a great game against city, use Remy when Costa either can't play, is off form or tired, and he pops up with a great goal, etc, etc. Ake is a great utility player, Christensen's looking good and there are a lot more coming through.
It's the Mikel's you should worry about. Players who are no longer first choice and lack motivation.
The future's a bigger squad with more chances for squad players. To win a treble, as Man Utd showed, it's the only way.
Always play your best players? / your best 11? A tired Fabregas or a sharp Ramires? A sharp Ramires every time. A tired, half injured Costa or a fresh Remy? A fresh, alert Remy every time.
