The roof can be closed but was glad it was open. Closed roof is a real atmosphere killer.
Did get slightly wet but who gives a F***? We was there to cheer on Chelsea to another cup. Wanna talk about rain? Seem to remember a game at Wembley when Utd smashed us now that was rain Awful day. |

the hypocricy of the U.K. media stinks, they certainly have agendas and the fa pander to them
The day after you win a trophy, and you're more concerned about imagined slights by the media? What a terrific fan. |

We had an ok first half from memory.
It was the second half when it went all wrong |

It was the second half when it went all wrong I always thought the 4-0 scoreline massively flattered United in 94, the dubious 2nd penalty Ellerey gave them meant we were left throwing caution to the wind letting them in for a couple more. As for Sunday, we didn't play well in the first half, but fortunately JT popped up with that goal just before the break. 2nd half a much improved performance, if still a way off from what we're capable of. Feels great though to have our first trophy of the season already won. Here's to adding some more very soon!

Probably completely the wrong place to ask this, but I'm willing to look an idiot.
Does anyone have any advice on the cheapest place to pick up Chelsea tickets? I'm looking to take my friend who's a massive fan for his birthday, but as it's kind of a surprise that particular avenue is closed off... Any help anyone can offer would be great! Bit of a noob....

What 'hypocrisy'? I've seen barely a mention of Costa's face-palm.
The day after you win a trophy, and you're more concerned about imagined slights by the media? What a terrific fan. If it were Costa, I'm sure you would agree it would be all over the papers and sky. And my support of Chelsea should be of little concerned you, but thank you, I am a terrific fan. |

I was at the 94 final too. In fact Sunday's match was the first final I've been to since back then, so it was nice to come away with much happier memories this time around!

So no, I don't agree. |

Costa shoved his hand in someone's face and, funnily enough, it isn't 'all over the papers and Sky'.
So no, I don't agree.

Yes, he did. He said getting that decision wrong soured his memory of refereeing that match from what I recall.

This lets you buy tickets after season tickets are gone, however you need loyalty points for the big games against the top 4 top 6 and cup finals etc. You should be able to get tickets for normal premier league / cup games easily being a member. Other than becoming a member, i think the only other way is buy hospitality package, which will be extremely expensive, or buy one off a tout(again probably extremely expensive). Id suggest becoming a member, it isnt too expensive and worth it if you plan on going to the bridge often. Both you and your mate will need to be members however. |

Other then that its keeping a eye out for games that go on public sale (which is not that often) and looking at the fixtures coming up (and how important they are at this stage) is unlikely. |

A very hard earned three points! Could have gone either way, great game for the neutral.
Still 5 points clear with a game in hand... |

West Ham 0 v Chelsea 1
A deserved result. West Ham could have scored 1 or 2, but then again, Chelsea missed a few chances.
A solid performance considering the context of the match, close after a draining cup final win. Only one change, Oscar in for Willian, and I was not impressed with Oscar at all. He's looking more and more like a luxury player. When Jose Mourhino arrived back, Oscar tried to catch the eye with tough tackling performances and some great skill. He scores the odd wonder goal, doesn't shoot nearly enough, and is now pulling out of tackles despite being fresh. Not good enough. Unless he changes considerably and soon, I would sell him in the summer, try and get £25 million for him and bring Mata back. Not many people agree with me there, but for me what you lose in the tackling and tracking back, Mata more than makes up for elsewhere in his play. Plus you can have Fabregas and Mata in the same squad. I don't think his ability has dipped at all, and he's at the peak of his career. At Chelsea, he wasn't getting the ball as much any more, and it's the same at Man Utd. If he did come back, when he plays, he needs the ball. His distribution there is second to none. Elsewhere in the squad the issue of cover for Matic is settled, and without buying anyone! Now, unless Remy suddenly ups his game, Chelsea just need another world class striker, and trebles every year will be achievable. As Fabregas said, it's not easy for Costa playing every week as the lone striker, and I still say that Mourhino should pick two strikers every now and then. With that policy, you also keep other world class strikers happy. Otherwise they just don't get enough playing time. |
