Last weekend, Betfred went 4/1 on Brazil to win the World Cup. Got £400 on at the shop. Laid it off at 4.3 for about £56 profit either way.

I've taken Spain to beat the Netherlands at 5/6. Unless I'm missing something, that looks a decent price to me. They look more like a 1/2 shot to me having seen the two line-ups.

First day of World Cup betting for me. Didn't have any luck in the Mexico game but currently got Van Persie to score anytime and it to finish 1-1 at 20/1. Need it to stay how it is, doubt it will though.
Also had Holland/Spain draw and Chile in an Acca. Vidal first scorer tonight at 7/1 too. Betting luck has been sh*t for a while now though so I doubt I'll get anything out of today. |

Had a treble of Mexico, Spain & Chile -1, really hoping Spain don't bust my coupon!

Did a few nonsense accumulators. Spain have just tanked them all.
Have had a e/w pennies on top goalscorer though: Muller @ 33/1 RVP @ 35/1 Oscar (did him today and still got 40/1) Hulk @ 40/1 Giroud @ 50/1 Sturridge @ 50/1 Hazard @ 66/1 And a few doing the double bets Neymar/Brazil @ 20/1 Aguero/Argentina 28/1 Muller/Germany @ 80/1 Benzema/France @ 100/1 More bets to follow... good luck all. |

Columbia are making hard work securing the 10/11 win. Another goal would be comfortable
Edit.there you go. 5 minutes later. Looks like buying money. |

England have come to be the narrow favourites against Italy tonight, i'm presuming it's just casual fans blindly putting their odd £5 and £10 on swinging it?

Sky Bet has to be one of the worst websites I've ever used. I've long thought this.

All this negativity towards England annoyed me so I put £10 on England to win all 3 games. Here's where we beat Italy and Uruguay but fail to beat Costa Rica.

Wahay. Bitter sweet moment. Got correct score for Eng vs Italy £10 on 10/1.
Worth noting that when tournament was last in Latin America - Mexico 86, every South American side plus Mexico qualified for next round. Went back to Argentina 78 and again every South American team made it. Mexico didn't. I'm not sure if you can do a linked bet for all Latin American teams to qualify for next round because it's a decent shout. May be leave Uruguay out. |
