I think she was always going to be in danger TBH.

I have no idea what face to face noms will mean. I think all the originals will pick Pav just with the "he was last in" reason but how many second noms will go to Ashleigh? Would Pav nominate her? Helen, even after everything? Who even knows...

And who will Ashleigh nominate? Pav and...she gets on well with everyone else (she gets on okay with Pav too from what we've seen.)

I can see a lot of people nominating Pav and Chris with a few nominations for Christopher and Ashleigh

Another reason to be glad Zoe's out is that she'd have nominated Ashleigh and Chris, as she just said on BOTS.

I don't think Winston will nominate Ashleigh.

I think she will be alright with face to face noms the only person that might vote for her I think will be Pav.

That is what I thought and it would be boring if there was only one girl in the final.

I think Ashleigh will put Pav&Ash going on when she was part of PHA.

It was pretty awful, lots of character assassination directed towards Chris from everyone on the panel, with Steven continually trying to convince everyone that Chris is 'manipulating the house' and still pushing for the 'creepy' monicker to stick. Hopefully that'll be the last time he's on to push his withered agenda.

Not much about Ashleigh, apart from Zoe saying she'd have nommed her and Chris, basically implying they're boring because they're not all self-consciously camera-hogging.

However, there was a wonderful clip shortly after that where Ashleigh was saying to the remaining housemates that she knew EXACTLY why Zoe had gone - because she banged on about her career and how wonderful it was and people wouldn't respond well to that. I thought it was a nice little contrast between the one-dimensional Zoe saying Ashleigh was boring and Ashleigh, being perceptive and intelligent (i.e. interesting ) basically hitting the slightly pompous Zoe-nail on the head...

Does anyone here know why some people have taken to calling Ashleigh "Ashli"?

Probably just a shortened form---too lazy to type the name out in full(?)

Blimey! She's as popular as ever on Tellymix.

For some reason I thought she might have slipped a bit. But no, she's still doing extremely well.
And the bookies odds are still favourable as well....http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/big-brother/winner

Worth noting - Ashleigh is the only surviving female not to have been immune for the whole series!”

It's worth noting that it would look really bad if the only woman in the final was there due to being there by virtue of a free pass.
That'd look really bad. It would kind of suggest that the show has something somewhat misogynistic about it, by either the presentation or by the voting.

I think she should be able to handle it, as we saw when she spoke of Zoe's bubbliness being both a positive AND a negative.

What I'm more concerned about is the consequences from who she nominates and how that will be shown.
I feel reasonably confident that if she's up in most circumstances that she can be saved with a bit of concentrated effort.

I think that was a very good clip because she didn't say it was just about the Tescos comment, and that it was based on other general stuff. Which she was very accurate about, and which the eviction interview and BOTS seemed to sweep under the carpet..
I believe that Ashleigh's assessment was in line with the public assessment.

I also got the feeling from that brief clip that Zoe has probably been talking about a hell of a lot of showbiz stuff which the HL show hasn't been showing to us.
Zoe's stories about her showbiz life have been largely absent from the HL show, other than one or two references to them.

That's the shortened form. But I've seen some posts spell her name 'Ashleighy'. Now you can't accuse them of being lazy if they're using an extra letter.

Great showing on that poll too.
Good to see that Chris is still doing well too. The perception over the last few days has probably been worse than the actual reality.

There was a flood of "creepy Chris" and "poor Pav" tweeting on the night when Gabrielle was on BOTS, including from some HMs from former years -- but it subsided after that, and I wonder how much of it meant votes in the end.

That people get caught up in a wave of dislike perhaps doesn't mean they'll want to spend their money on it too.

I wrote in the Chris thread that I think the eviction result may mean that most of the anti-Chris stuff on Twitter etc was from people who already didn't like him, rather than from people who'd supported him turning against him -- and so he'd kept most of the support he'd had before, as the online polls had seemed to suggest.

...

Watching BOTS was like I'd time-warped back to that earlier BOTS, except that the panel was, if anything, worse.
