I believe that Ashleigh's assessment was in line with the public assessment.

I also got the feeling from that brief clip that Zoe has probably been talking about a hell of a lot of showbiz stuff which the HL show hasn't been showing to us.
Zoe's stories about her showbiz life have been largely absent from the HL show, other than one or two references to them.”

Yep, she was very accurate, as she so often is. She remains, along with Chris IMO, the only housemate there able to think outside the immediate bubble that they're currently in with any objectivity.

The other thing I picked up on from what she was saying that Zoe obviously made a big thing about how she'd done 'shitty' jobs, presumably a continuations of the whole 'I'm-so-humble-me' thing, inside the house. I guess they didn't show those particular monologues because they just repeated what she kept telling us in the Diary Room... Ashleigh rightly pointed out that they'd *all* done shitty jobs at some point to get to where they are now, as has just about everybody ever (though it was quite amusing when she was talking about Helen probably having had to do shitty things to get to where she has with her salon ).

Zoe's problem was that she obviously thinks all her experiences are completely unique to her. Poor her having had to have done shitty jobs, especially when so many talented and capable people all over the country have had to do the same, especially in the last few years, because of the recession etc.

Ashleigh Coyle (35%, 679 Votes)
Christopher Hall (20%, 390 Votes)
Chris R Wright (15%, 280 Votes)
Winston Showan (11%, 207 Votes)

Helen 3.7%
Mark 2.5%

Ash 1.34%
Ashleigh 33.87%
Chris 16.67%
Christopher 32.53%
Helen 5.65%
Mark 1.08%
Pav 5.11%
Winston 3.76%

Voters: 372.

So while Christopher has gained a bit of support (maybe because of Chris losing quite a bit of support), Ashelgih is still ahead on all four and quite far ahead on three of the four.

Of course she's also third on the "least popular" poll on ThisIsBigBrother and joint third with Chris on the DS least popular poll, and the two people ahead of her are Helen and Mark and they won't be up for eviction (well I guess there's a small chance Mark could be...)

Looking good I really think she has a good chance of winning this fingers crossed for Ashleigh !

The polls are looking good indeed I like Christopher but I think he would be a poor winner personally plus it's time about time a girl won a Channel 5 civilian series !

Yes, we've had our share of boring male winners (sorry fellas), we want a female winner. Ashleigh to win
Stuart25

She has slipped a bit, but that was to be expected as her momentum has gone. I believe it is a three horse race between Ashleigh, Christopher and Winston. I think Christopher and Winston could split votes as the "nice, inoffensive guy", which could pave the way for Ashleigh's victory

Christopher would be a good winner but Ashleigh would be a great one- I'm pleased to see that her support is holding up well in the polls, looking forward to getting this last week of 'vote to evict' out of the way then hopefully we'll be on to the 'vote to win'

I don't think it's a case of her support slipping I just think Christopher has gained a bit more support I think they were from people who were originally Chris fans as Chris seems to have lost some support .

Just to be clear re the maths, even if Chris's percentage dropped to zero and all of those votes went to Christopher instead, that wouldn't change Ashleigh's percentage. (Think of 100 voters. If, for example, 45 of them vote Ashleigh one week, and they still do the next, she will still have 45% no matter how the percentages of the others change.)

Anyway, it's the telymix poll that shows a substantial fall, though she's still in the lead.

(On BBSpy, she's down a bit; on This is BB, she's actually up a bit (from 42.96 % last week to 46.2% so far this week. But it looks like quite a few people haven't yet voted this week; and that can be seen with the Tellymix poll too: tatal votes last week was 4,117 and so far this week it's 2,764.)

So what's changed on Tellymix?

Last week: Tellymix favourite poll week 8:

Ashleigh Coyle (48%, 1,996 Votes)
Chris R Wright (15%, 618 Votes)
Christopher Hall (13%, 544 Votes)
Helen Wood (5%, 222 Votes)
Ash Harrison (5%, 217 Votes)
Winston Showan (5%, 205 Votes)
Mark Byron (3%, 135 Votes)
Zoe Birkett (2%, 94 Votes)
Pavandeep Paul (4%, 86 Votes)

Total Voters: 4,117

Read more: http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big...te-week-8.html

And the current, week 9, poll:

Ashleigh Coyle (35%, 966 Votes) ---- down 13%
Christopher Hall (20%, 563 Votes) -- up 7%
Chris R Wright (15%, 402 Votes) ------- unchanged
Winston Showan (11%, 314 Votes) --- up 6%
Helen Wood (9%, 249 Votes) ----------- up 4%
Ash Harrison (4%, 103 Votes) ------------ down 1%
Pavandeep Paul (4%, 102 Votes) -------- unchanged
Mark Byron (2%, 65 Votes) -------------- down 1%
Total Voters: 2,764

Read more: http://tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv/big...te-week-9.html

However, if we look at Week 7 too, Ashleigh is up 8% this week compared to her percentage then:

Ashleigh Coyle (27%, 1,558 Votes)
Chris R Wright (27%, 1,541 Votes)
Christopher Hall (13%, 727 Votes)
Mark Byron (7%, 408 Votes)
Zoe Birkett (7%, 379 Votes)
Helen Wood (6%, 363 Votes)
Ash Harrison (5%, 296 Votes)
Winston Showan (4%, 255 Votes)
Kimberly Kisselovich (1%, 85 Votes)
Steven Goode (1%, 64 Votes)
Pavandeep Paul (2%, 35 Votes)

Total Voters: 5,711

Hasn't a woman won a Channel 5 series?

I'll bet they'll try and force a Helen win if they can. Which looks possible when the numbers are so low and there's only 5 or 6 in the final. They've already made inroads by spinning earlier horrible behaviour into a journey story.
They could so that with any arsehole who behaves like a nasty shit in the early weeks and is then given incentives to calm down in later weeks.
Now that Helen hasn't got any excuse to kick off at people why would she?
I'm not saying that she's all bad by any means, I do think that she CAN be quite nice and normal. But just because she's content now doesn't mean that she wouldn't be aggressive when placed in another unfamiliar situation outside of Big Brother.
Unless Big Brother is some kind of magic brainwashing machine I take the notion that peoples characters entirely change just because they've been on the show with a massive pinch of salt.

Not the civilian summer series:

BB12: Aaron; BB13: Luke A; BB14: Sam

I can't remember all the celeb bb winners.

I suppose they might try, but it would be difficult to get her past all of Ashleigh, Christopher, Chris and Winston.

Five females out of 14, not good.

Not a Civillian series but Charlotte and Denise won CBB on the channel 5 series .

Hmm. If this is a 10-week series, we're in week 9 with 8 HMs.

Double eviction this week?

if so.

Well it could be double eviction or a vote to safe twice this week then there would be 6 hms for the final.

That'd look really bad. It would kind of suggest that the show has something somewhat misogynistic about it, by either the presentation or by the voting.”

I've had a look at the BB 15 Nominations table on Wikipedia, and only two men have been evicted by the viewers.

Matthew went when only men were up, and that was because of a twist ("Girl Power").

Marlon was evicted by the new HMs without a viewer vote at any stage.

So the only man voted out when women were up too is Steven. (He was up against Ashleigh, Pav, and Zoe).

The only woman who went when only women were up is Tamara.

Jale survived 3 votes before going.

Danielle and Zoe survived 2. Ashleigh has also survived 2.

Tamara, Pauline, and Toya went the first time they were up.
